Want Access to the Private Field and Store Area?
We have been allowing store and field owners into the paid Field and Store Private forum for free. We haven't been adding managers, refs or employees though. If you do run your facility and do have permission from the owner, you can sign up here:
https://www.pbnation.com/payments.php
If you own or run an online store and want access, you can sign up with the above link.
If you own a legitimate field with insurance or a brick and mortar paintball store, we would like to give you access to our private field and store owner's forum.
Please first make sure your field or store is first listed in the Field and Store listings.
Then PM or email me and I'll get the info I need to add you.
In your PM or email, please include:
Full name
Position at the company
State(s) your business is located in
Name of the business
Link to your website (make sure there is a clear way to email you through it)
Make sure your PbNation account is registered with your business email (that you check often) to make the process take even less time.
If you don't get a response back within a week, please resend the info.
John

I hope this doesn't take away from the activity on this forum. I really appreciate when people like Gatsplat and Horizon post on here.

I agree. I am not a field owner, but am a business major in school and like seeing the business side of this sport. Hopefully this doesnt detract from this forum.

We've actually had a Private Field and Store Owner's Section for quite some time now. This isn't a new thing and we don't want to steal traffic from this forum. But we do want people who own paintball businesses to talk to each other more and see what is working well at other facilities so we can get more people out and playing paintball. Too often discussions get derailed in here by kids offer businesses their "professional" advice. So we are making more of an effort to get stores and fields talking where they can't be interrupted so easily.
The private forum hasn't seen much activity because we used to charge people to keep the kids out. Now we can add any Field or Store for free if they take a minute and demonstrate they are legitimate.

john, a great idea, but, dont you guys charge to list fields? cuz my local field isnt listed there. a couple years ago my local B&M store closed but he maintained his playing area. as far as i know, my local field owner isnt a member of pbn, so.. how would that work then? i mean, i manage all of his websites, and am the head ref at the field. would i be able to list it for him? how would we go about proving your requirements?

i agree with converstations getting derailed, but sometimes (rarely, but sometimes) the "kids" make a very valid point. see my comment above about demostrating a field is legit.

No, our field listing is free. Always has been.
You can upgrade the field for a fee so it is at the top of the listing with more information, but the listing itself is free.

Sorry, we don't have an international field listing yet. However, if you do own a real field, you can get access to the private section.

What? The forum is a way for legitimate field owners to help each other out and post things like marketing techniques that are working for them.

You have to have like 5 posts before you can PM.
So if you reply to this, then add your $.02 in a thread or 2 you can then PM.
EDIT: just don't go posting "Hi" or you might get reported for trolling.

Can I get access as well? Do I need to be a supporting member?

I run a field in Manitoba, Canada.
The public forum is okay, but the repeated posts from non-field owners asking why we charge so much is bogging down the threads.
I would also like to join the private section.
