Sept 26- 3 Player BYOP, Remote Charity Tourney @YMCA by Jungle Cats
Sept 26- 3 Player BYOP, Remote Charity Tourney @YMCA by Jungle Cats. (We have space for a few more teams. Limited Space, first come first served.)
For decades Jungle Cat Paintball has produced Remote Tournaments for: Schools, Fire/Rescue Depts, Festivals, Corps etc. We are proud to offer a truly unique opportunity on the grounds of the Oconomowoc YMCA that will give players the chance to show off their stuff.
This will be a very cool event for players because of the audience in attendance. The Jungle Cats are putting on a Day Paintball Clinic Friday and Sat. On Sunday morning these players will play in their own tournament in front of family and friends. After that you guys will get the chance to play a tournament and show them how it is done.
These events get plenty of media attention so it’s a great chance for promotions and recruiting for your team.
Rookie Class players D4 or less, but teams may have one D3 player rostered.

This sounds very cool John! Trophy's rock! A couple of questions!
How do we pay you when we sign up? Credit over the phone or Cash at the event?
This is a goofy question but better safe than sorry. Can we play pump?

I have setup the YMCA to take your registrations. Call 262 567-7251; tell them you want to register for the "Tournament" not the Paintball Clinc. They will take your cards there and then.
You can play pump or mechanical at any rate of fire.

The Person in charge at the YMCA had a medical emergency yesterday and is gone- I am running things for them now.
Yes- of course you can play. They wanted it to be limited so we wouldn't rip up the grass... anything new is scarey at first. They now have a better understanding of what we are doing so we can take more teams. This is going to be another fun event. Heck it's BYOP!
Please call me John by Sat. PM with your info so I can get things ready. Leave a message if I do not answer- I am busy. 262 719 4237

In Fielding Phone calls today I have had some great conversations.
I just want to thank everyone ahead of time. The Jungle Cats and I are excited to offer this to you guys in appreciation for letting us play with you in other tourneys. This is why.
We all play paintball for fun. It is no fun playing by ourselves, so we need someone to play with. Ten years ago- every weekend you could hit a different tourney and play with different people you might not ever see again. In those days people could get away with being jerks to each other.
Now we see each other over and over again. Sometimes we compete hard with each other, other times we compete just for the pure fun of it. We are going to do everything we can to make this an enjoyable get together for your pure fun.
Also we would like to thank the YMCA for inviting us to put on this event. This is not a one time shot, this is the first shot. We will be doing this at the YMCA Annually as per our agreement with them. The YMCA is all about building community, and the Cats and I are determined to help build the paintball community. We are looking forward to this community partnership with the YMCA and building another bridge from us paintballers to the larger community.
We would greatly appreciate any help you all are willing to lend, even if you are just playing. We need to play together or none of us will be playing at all. “See you all in the Middle.”
Thanks Much,
John

Which YMCA is this going to be at. I looked at the Beaver Dam one as that appears to be the closest and they don't have anything about this listed.
