Help with steps in making a team and sponsorships.
Well my friends and I (we are all young gunz) are starting a team and we need help. First off, we need to know how to find, register, and play in tournaments. How to get sponsorships from both the local field and store and then later the manufacturers. One of our biggest problems is that we don't know how to get jerseys and the like. Please Help.

find local tourneys very nearby dont look for ones all across the state(unless your in a reeeeaally small state) and for jerseys if your looking for actual custom jerseys id look at animal paintball but they can be a little expensive if you dont wanna spend as much money i recomend getting custom longsleeve shirts a company i HIGHLY recommend is txgraphixpb.com their owner tyler is here on pbn i believe his screen name is txgraphix im sure hed be able to work out a deal with you he is a very friendly guy best of luck to you and your team

That.
Sponsorships mean nothing nowadays they are just glorified discounts for buying in bulk.

alright im sure you know it but you cant just go in and get a sponsorship you have to work to achieve it showing the companies that you are willing to do what it takes to make it whether it be practicing every weekend (hopefully or maybe every other weekend) helping out at the field whatever you can do that will catch their attention and want to sponsor you. also being good sports they dont want to sponsor a bunch of kids that think their the **** but suck lol......and for jerseys all the things people said above are good but since your a young guns team just starting out youll want to worry more about your playing skill than how agg you look, hope that helps and GL

Thanks, that helped a lot. One of our friends that is on a team suggested we get a least stock jerseys from like Dye or something since last time we went to the field we got very little respect from some people. Overall that was about having a more "professional" look.

You will not get respect by "looking good". You have to earn the respect of people/cometition. You earn that by being respectful, not talking trash, proving you can hold your own on the field, being good sportsmen both on and off the field.
Even if you cannot hold yor own on the field. You do everything else I mentioned above, people will see you are trying and come over to give you pointers how to improve your game.
If you trash talk or are bad sports, other teams will simply destroy you on the field and not bother with you off the field.

I understand what you are saying and agree. Custom jerseys weren't even my idea, it was my friend's mom... But some of the people we played with the other day gave us crap because we didn't look good. Well, we lost on a surrender rule because I went 1 v1 with a guy and we shot eachother out. Some other guy pinned down my friend in a mini-X and he got shot in the leg then my friend tried to 1v1 him and got surrendered (stupid surrender rule) because the ref wouldn't let him shoot the guy since he was too close and then the guy surrenders my friend when my friend should've gotten the surrender on him and their team gave us a bunch crap after.

get longsleeve t-shirts and don't worry about jerseys. Alot of people think longsleeves look better anyway. Look at Vicious, they just went pro and have been wearing longsleeves the whole way up to pro.

Then you don't need to worry about that team, sounds like they are not they type of team anyone with a brain would want to be like or even bother with.
