99.9% is a little high. If you went with about 95% that would be more like it. Regardless, Eli isn't the best QB in his family and as a result he shouldn't win MVP over his brother.

Aaron Rodgers is up there, too. I would say those three are the top candidates right now. Right now, Mike Sando has Eli at #2 on his MVP Watch, and he's been on the list all season. He's an All-Pro caliber quarterback whether you like it or not.

That would be easy to do. Even RG3 has been responsible for more of his team's wins.
Peyton and Rodgers at this point are miles ahead of Eli, he just doesn't have comparable numbers.

I think I'd have Rodgers higher on my list.

True.

Eli flushes more clutch down the toilet every morning than 99% of the QBs to have ever played the game had in their career.

I like when people say that. It makes me wonder how "OMG SO CLUTCH" Peyton and Rodgers would be if their team was always losing for the first 3 quarters. Those QBs go out and kill it for the entire game. They don't just throw one TD pass in the 4th quarter and get all the credit for winning a football game.
When the Giants beat the Redskins the other day Eli had 0 TD passes and 2 INTs. He throws one TD pass and gets all the credit for "an amazing comeback win". It's laughable.

Is it dumb because it's true?

Don't quit, just get better. Or wait for him to retire since he's older.
