Talks of Burrows going to Boston today.
That would officially make Boston the most hated team in the league with Marchand, Chara and Burrows lololol

HAH. Where'd you hear that? Burrows for who?
I follow the NHL very closely and I haven't heard that once.
So maybe? haha

Haha no dodgy sir! I have heard it from a few sources online.
Boston doesn't want to get rid of any of their current roster but are willing to deal prospects and draft picks. They are looking for a forward or a good puck handling defenseman

Kassian was Vancouvers biggest pickup. I always loved Kassian

That's the biggest trade of the day. Decent deal, but I love Hodgson and feel bad for him. He'll be a great player and I hope he has a good career. Glahhhh.
Dustin Brown still woulda been the best pickup for us IMO.
Pahlsson is solid tho too.

I think the COL and SJ deal was the biggest IMO.
Although I do have to say that van did more than I thought they would

Geoff to call that San Jose deal the biggest is kind of silly.
TSN is calling the Nucks - Sabers trade a "blockbuster" and "monumental move".... It's a much bigger deal to swap premier prospects than depth players.

Perhaps, yes. I just feel myself that the impact of TJ and Winnick will be substantial in San Jose, a team that does well every year just lacks scoring when they need it.
Don't get me wrong, The Kassian/Hodgson deal was HUGE, but in terms of a playoff push this year I would have rathered Hodgson. Like you said, great young player with TONS of potential (Kassian is the same though too). I say that because anything can happen in the off-season. Just look at the Bolts, I think they are going to be buyers in the off-season or draft day after all of what they have removed.
Perhaps I should rephrase and say that the biggest impact for a playoff run this year, I believe, was in SJ.
And I think there was honestly no way that VAN would have gotten Brown today, not without mixing things up a nice bit in the organization.

Fair enough. Winnik and Galiardi are both great role players... I actually thought Galiardi would have been a good player to add (to any team).
For Brown? We would have had to trade probablyyy Raymond + Tanev + a high round draft pick.... or some combination of a forward, defensive prospect, and draft pick. I don't think LA wanted to deal him though.

Nah me neither. LA is looking good right now, if they could get another solid defense man they could look like a scary team. The firepower there right now is unbelievable (Kopitar, Gagne, Carter, Brown, Penner, Richards, Stoll).

I'm honestly choked with the Hodgson deal. I was expecting him to be a core member of the franchise for years and to become a solid leader. I guess he'll get more playing time in Buffalo though...

It's unbelievable but even more unbelievable they are the lowest scoring team in the league! haha.

I am going to be picking up a cheap set up so I can settle my urges every now and then.
But that won't be until I get new camera gear.
