Not many around the Hburg area

I'm due West of Hattiesburg - well between there and Columbia

We are getting back into it but woods ball and limited tech - a few of us might venture back out but have no idea right now

I feel I'm getting too old for this

Anyone around H'burg still play alot? I used to play at Rage alot until they closed then moved to Paintball Project which actually sucked but still played there until they closed. I prefer speedball and etc. played with several guys from Rage but now with not fields being open nearby I'm resorting to woodsball out at Camp Shelby with some old friends who play every sunday and usually around 40-50 turn out. Anyone else interested in some woodsball?

I played at SWAT a few times good field and all but I'm already spending alot of money on gas to go college.

You're talking to a guy who drives to Hattiesburg from Biloxi for some of his classes. Believe me, I know. I got an old beat up camaro with a whooping 9 mpg to add to the pain.

Wasn't plugging either field. Just giving the facts that there isn't a speedball field(which you said you prefer) closer that I'm aware of at this time.

We have a woodsball/scenario field we have been working on in Mccomb it is the home field for Bayou Mafia.We will be doing a home game atleast once a month.We do alot of away games send me a pm and can keep u up todate on next game we have.

I recently moved to Hattiesburg from Maine. I'm completely new to the area and am not sure what's around here for decent fields. I'll be here for at least the next 5 years for graduate school so I'm looking to get into some tournament play eventually. Does MS or anywhere nearby have a serious tournament series? I haven't played in a couple years, but I used to play 7 man intermediate/amateur in the New England Paintball League for a few years, a couple NPPLS and d3 PSP. Any direction or advice would be much appreciated!

SWAT in Ocean Springs is your closest and best bet. There are some pro and divisional players there every Sunday. No tournament series here (MS), although Birmingham (AL) has the ACES series that some of us from SWAT plan to make. SWAT has a $kins game every 4th Sunday of every month. It's a blind draw, so teams are randomly selected. Check out the thread for more info. Winner(s) takes the ca$h! Win or lose, it's always a lot of fun!
