How it might have happened-
About 2000 years ago there was this young 13-14 year old girl named Mary. She was engaged to some guy named Joseph who was much older than her, probably in his 40s or so. She either had a secret lover, or she was a little **** who spread her legs for all the local boys, b/c she became pregnant, and had not yet consummated her relationship with Joseph. This put her in a precarious situation, as according to Jewish law, the only future she had to look forward to was being stoned to death as an adulteress/harlot. So, being the typical scheming, conniving woman, and knowing a bit of OT prophecy, she fabricated a story saying that she was pregnant by God, and her child was to be the messiah. She tried to convince Joseph of this, and he either believed her, or more likely went along with her delusion b/c he did not want to loose this fine little piece of *** that he paid a considerable dowry for.
Or most likely what happened-
There was no Jesus, Mary, or Joseph, they were just a made-up legend/fairy tale, like the rest of the bible.
Not really an original thought on this topic. It is my contention that the story of Jesus and many of the other fables in the bible were plagiarized from previous cultures. Unfortunately many cannot see or chose to ignore the previous stories written generations before the bible. Many people do not even know about the council of nicea where the biblical text was voted upon by the Romans in an attempt to save a dying empire.
Would make for an interesting holiday porn movie, that's for sure!
