its either JT maxim or this ice paint for me. im more leanin torward the maxim due to the factor of a gift card. that way i have $ for admission/air

and shooting twice doesnt always do the trick. i mean i shot my uncle 50times on the 7th, not a SINGLE break
everything bounced. ima destroy that jersey if i get the chance

no, its his jersey/bounce vest combo. i shot him 20times in the chest... NOTHING! no1 could get him out unless it was a gun or mask shot

/flex to the 2xl PE jersey and Empire bounce vest!

The 2011 PE jersey is super thick compared to the Dye C11! I don't even know if I need the bounce vest any longer. But for now it keeps me warm.

I was calling the ref for paint check and he was like "BOUNCE".

I thought I read somewhere here you were allowed two layers? If not I would loose the vest...

You're allowed two layers, but it can't be more than 1/2" of padding If I recall correctly. in other words, they'd pull you for the vest. The second layer is meant to be a shirt.

Just looked it up again. You're allowed up to 1/2", BUT! the rulebook says "players should not wear padding so thick that they cannot feel hits". So if the ref feels it's excessive, they can give you a penalty on it.

Also this:
Players may wear only one layer of underclothing consisting of, at maximum, one pair of under-shorts and one short or long sleeve t-shirt, provided that it contains no padding. Any other soft padding in garments is prohibited.

I have nothing to lose!!! I play w/ under armor and jersey anyways.

But elbow pads/knee pads don't count, right?

those are fine. Everyone wears em still. They're not really soft padding, they're designed to protect your body. "Players may wear one layer of padding and/or other protection on the elbow, forearm, knee or shin, provided that padding and/or protection has not been modified from the manufacturer‟s original form."

you can wear whatever you want in recball, but in scrims and tourneys, I'd keep the padding at home.

Have you ever felt the pro jerseys that some of the teams wear? The Outfit jersey is twice as thick material/padding as my PE 2011 when they showed me.

Yeah Raza and pro ones are insaaaaannnne with padding.

They make them like that so it makes wearing hidden undershirts obsolete. People used to cut the neck of the shirts, or wear tanktops to hide extra padding, and if they got caught, they'd justify "well my jersey has no padding".

This makes a standardized jersey to equal everyone out.

I just go T-shirt or no shirt.

Not a fan of clothing the upper body when playing, tbh.

On robe days I go shirtless.
