Question About The Pro's Protection?

This has always bugged me for some gofd forsaken reason
but how come I never see like any of the Avalanche.Ironmen, ext
weraing pads? I never see hardly any pros that where elbow
and knee/shin pads. And I know every pro does not where the
JT skinz.

This is probably because they mostly play on grass fields or fields with some sort of soft ground so they really don't need pads. If I got to play on those kinds of fields all the time I don't think I'd need pads either.

The only thing I can think of is so if a ball hits the knee pad, it wont automatically break. Just like how most tourny players get soft sides for their flex 7's which expose a bit much for my tastes but any bounce is good I guess.

Its probrably because they wear them under their pants. This would allow them more movement and to bemore free. If you wear kneepads on the outside, it makes the pants tight around your legs. This is just what i have found. Maybe thats why u dont see them on.

Sorry mag master, you are incorrect. It is illegal to wear pads on the insides of pants or jerseys.

5.14. Players may wear forearm and elbow protection, provided that the padding on such protection has not been modified from the manufactures original form. Such protection may be worn over or under clothing.

5.15. Players may wear shin and knee protection, provided that the padding has not been modified for the manufactures original form. Such protection may be worn over or under clothing.

straight from the NPPL rule book

Guys no joke, I must have been thinking about my fields rule book. It states that you must wear pads on the outside of ones clothing. Strange. But I guess NPPL rules out all. But yeah I got told. Different tourny rules. It all depends on which one you are at.

he didn't get "told" guys, i'm pretty sure they changed that this year for the 2001 season. I'm pretty sure ZAP Am makes you wear them on the outside though.

i actually think you should have to wear them on the inside incase you try to hind any tools in there you can change velocity or anything else with...i doubt it happens often but just another precaution for all the ppl who have to cheat to win
