I also believe in what marcus says, but im thinking they have other ideas that can bypass the grooves in the G5 breech but they might be worried of copyright / patent infringement ( in this case, i don't have any clue on certain patents so dont quote me on that) or the performance gains of the bolt would be not be cost effective.

Coz right now, IMO there are 2 existing bolt systems that, combined with the stock G5 bolt with a bit of modification, can bypass the groove problem of the G5.

Would think a sleeve that fits in the back with a small lip that the cap can use to hold in place would work...maybe? Might block air in though huh?

Got a few more quotes from the shop we will be dealing with in regards to varying quantities, finishes, etc.

Still need to figure out how many G3 kits to have made.. bleh.

Ask yourself how many G3's are out there, then take away 30% because they are sitting in some one's closet and don't get used or are broken. Now take away another 30% because those people will probably never upgrade. Take away another 10-15% because they have Techt bolts. What's left is what you should build...roughly speaking. Either that or make 500 and see how they sell. If they go like crazy, make 500 more and wait and see how they sell.

I'm actually working it all out on a spreadsheet right now. lol

Looks like 500units is the most cost effective after oring bagging, cost, shipping ,fees, etc.

The difference between pricing for 500 and 1250 qty means that it will be less risky to go with the 500pcs and still have ample margins to pay for the costs. I forgot about advertsiing and the actual packaging.. ugh lol

Fairly easy, you can get clamshells for about 6 cents each and some card stock on a laser printer less than 10 cents and social media to start

Any chance you have a line on the clam shells?

My uncle works for a major printing company in Chicago, IL. They do all of McDonald's printing.. stuff for the cubs/sox, etc. I'll have him grab a quote.
