What if the psp would allow 10 players to register an event but your only allowed to play 8 players per match.

no idea it really up to psp, but its kinda like club soccer where you have a whole club to choose from and you take 20 to the tournament but only a fraction of that is allowed to be eligible to play during the match. There are lots of positives and negatives but we will only eventually see if their decisions are good or bad. Or we can always go ply in sean walkers league.

But i absolutely agree with you why not just 10

LOL I bet. I did hear about some big news for west coast teams, and it sounds pretty cool.

Why make it a rule when it can just be a judgment call made by the sponsors and teams?

If a team can't afford to carry their player it should be a decision made by the team. I've seen players injured at PSP events, it's rare but it happens but it most certainly does.

Every new "rule" that has been presented has been fundamentally flawed.

By capping it for all teams, you can argue, you are creating a more level playing field, where a team cannot stockpile players, which throws competitive balance aside.

And by forcing the top talent to spread out a bit, you also provide more competitive balance.

And if you don't have competitive balance, you incent the less well funded teams to seek other options.

That logic holds if those top level players are willing to ride the pine for no money instead of going to a team where they can get more playing time for no money.

8 Players Cap for Pro is fine with me as long as 12 is the cap for divisional. I don't play pro so I could care less about pro rosters.

So if the cap is 8 or 10 for divisional then you will care about the pros?

If there was a cap on divisional roster then that would be an issue for me.

How many teams do you think pay players?

By which, I think, you mean more teams SHOULD pay players than are right now?

what i thing should happen if i was calling the shots

not a good move for the psp with no nppl in there why they need to have more pro sports i would like to see 16 to 18 spots make the team in the pro sport pay for the full season a head of time and have the paint sponsors singn and contract that says them will have paint for all the teams at the events no matter what. that when help most teams if not all make the events. the bottom 2 at the end of the year get moved down to sim-pro and the top 2 semi-pro or open class get moved up. capped the team rosters to 10 rostered players bps should be moved to a falt 12 for pro to d2, 10bps for d3-d4, and 8bps for d5 and masters. this will make it so that the new players and team lean to make moves and not sent there and just shot there guns till there up by 2 or 3 bodys before they start making moves around the field. this will help level the playing field. have 5 to 6 events a year. also no more full auto pros to d1 use ramping the rest should be using semi-auto.this will halp d3 and under to save paint and by proxy save thim money which will keep thim coming back to the evets. keep doing that webcast (the world cup webcast was the best iv ever seen). thats just my idea i love x-ball and hope they keep the format that or stat useing the m7 formate
