I'm lvl 23 lol but lately I've been playing with/against horrible people

I know this is noob, but I finally got off locked screen. so much better. I didn't know you could change it till I had roughly 500 games played so I tried 3 times or so and couldn't do it so I just left it locked since I was used to it.

I'm trying to get my roommate to get off locked screen. I can't stand watching him play. There are so many times where there are things he should be able to see that he can't because instead of looking ahead, half of his screen is useless because it's looking behind him.

Every junglers dream. On my "gain", I saw so many champs like Karth start boots 3 and i'd camp them until they quit.

Elo gaining tip: If the other team is arguing in all chat, agree with the person who ****ed up. For example: If there is a TF mid who bought 0 wards and got ganked 5 times and he is arguing with the Nocturne jungle who has been camping top, agree with the TF. It only makes Noct, and the rest of the team, rage harder.

Oh, and I've been enjoying a lot of Zac and Naut lately. Plus, the Astronautilus skin is increasing in price next patch so I had to pick that one up.

my mechanics used to suck, straight up god awful so when I tried unlocked for the first time I failed. when I changed it the other day I did it in an aram as ashe and got used to it fairly well. so I went into a normal with a couple friends and played syndra for the first time since I bought her on sale. to be honest I wasn't expecting much since it was the first time I played her, and I hadn't really looked at her kit at all other than seeing her played on a couple streams. my lane went pretty passive since I didn't want to **** up too much, but god her farming is so nice haha. we ended the game at 42 mins and I had 330 cs and a score of 9/4/12 I think. I know these aren't the best numbers but it was such a good feeling to get off that locked screen and do so well. the feels

Okay that's true. I don't like how you have to go to the mini map at the bottom to move the screen then or can you drag?

To move the screen when it is not lock you push your cursor to the edge of the minimap to scroll. It's really intuitive and I would say is 100% necessary to do. It will improve your awareness so much. If you are worried about losing you champion in a team fight pressing space will center the camera on your champion for as long as you hold it down for, then it will return to free camera mode.

Also if you aren't already using A to last hit try it, it will stop your character at their max auoattack range, very helpful to keep distance of enemy cc/damage.

This. It also makes moving in between autos to keep your positioning in team fights easier.

Using A to las hit is useless. Cop even said most pros only use S (to stop) and A while last hitting to keep their fingers warm for later fights. It is very important for kitting and chasing enemies into bushes.

Well you push your cursor to the edge of the screen.

And while we're giving out advice, for all of you who just figured out you should be playing with an unlocked screen, 90% of the time you should be smart-casting your abilities and summoner spells.

Yeah lol I meant screen not minimap. And smart cast is preference. There are plenty of pros who don't use it. I personally use smartcast on all abilities, summoners, and item slots. Another way to do it is to bind your smart casted abilities to QWER and your non smart casted abilities to ZXCV. This allows to see ranges and hit boxes on abilities you aren't yet comfortable with.
