Today was a pretty bad *** day. I have never seen the turn out we had at hurlburt today. It was certainly a day i am glad i did not miss

This is true! Although i feel bad about a player leaving because he felt he wasnt welcomed. We had way too many people for him not to be able to get some reps in. I feel like the panhandle will have something to offer at cup, maybe even a team based out of hurlburt field paintball....

Hey Richie what are those tournaments called where folks show up and the teams are picked out of a hat? You know like the teams are completly random based on who shows up. I KNOW YOU HAVE HEARD OF IT!

Well i would love to see some **** like that at Hurlburt. doesn't even have to be a tournament can just be a compitition where everybody puts 5-10 bucks into a pool and winner takes all.

I hope Coop and Hurlburt would back some **** like that. If you ask me it shouldn't take to much time, AND organization... ???

Once Coop is able to get that pit up and going it will be easier for him to run a tournament.

The tournament you are talking about is called a skins game, Everyone that wants to play can, you pay 5 bucks on top of your regular day, names are drawn out of a hat to make teams, the team that gets the most points win, gets the prize money to split (everyones 5 dollars they put in). Typically you seed out the good players as team captains to ensure no one team is stacked. Its a really great tool to get people to come out, and to give you a tournament feel without having to drop an extra 50 or 60 bucks.

Last tourny I played back in 08 had a $300 entry fee for our team, which was a three man.

Hey guys, I swear to god i wanted to cry seeing all the Speedball players out this past sunday... I never knew paintball was a type of sport that put so many good people together and everyone treated each other like Fam... I hope to stay a strong part of this community and grow with you all on and off the Playing Field, with the Skins idea i dont see a problem with it at all, i just got to run it by my uppers than i let who ever knowsthe most about it coordinate it! on another note Tomorrow if the weather is good we are still changing the field layout so if you can make it by at least 0800 tomorrow that be great!! Take it easy guys!

Hurlburt is hands down the best field in the area, I'm just usually tied up on Sunday's.

First off thanks to coop for everything he's done for the field. Last Sunday was an amazing day! I will be the first to apologize to the kid that walked off the field. I had no intention of making him feel not welcome. We are a family at this field and there should be no reason that situation occurred. I take full responsibility for being an *******. A good friend of mine put me in check this weekend and I can only thank him for making me realize what my attitude was becoming. I apologize to all those whom my behavior affected.

Props for showing up yesterday and helping coop. Jon already knew the situation, but i had to work till about 2:30 am and i couldnt bring myself to wake up in time.
