My school invited me on the field trip to Galveston beach because I'm "Gifted and Talented" but told me that I have to pay $150. So, they give me one week to magically pull $150 out of my A**. I told them just because I'm gifted and talented doesn't mean I'm rich. And I know that $150 isn't alot of money to most people, but it's just me and my dad living in a house and we aren't really the richest family in town if you know what I mean... and I quit my job last month because it was bringing my grades down dramatically and I like to keep them in the A's.

Anyways, any ideas how I can get ATLEAST $100 before this friday (the 25th)? I might be able to talk them into letting me have until next monday (the 28th).

Please, no illegal acts like stealing, drug dealing, etc. (Although stealing would be so easy) Will WUL if anyone can think of something that turns out decent results.

Hmm its winter so mowing lawns isnt really an option. Try to find something in the neighborhood like raking leaves or something.

i would just go around asking people to donate to your cause. i did that once and made about 80 bucks in 2 days. just give them a good story.

This is a good idea. Maybe you could combine my idea with his and rake leaves while telling people its because you need money to go on this trip. That way even though they dont really need their leaves raked, they will let you to help your cause.

Whether they're private or public, there should be a program that will help pay for it. Go to the principal and ask if there's a financial aid assistance program available either through the state or the school (if you're affiliated with a Church, it's more than likely they'd have one).
