used a bunch of left over parts, and some spare sheet metal tonight. used a sheet metal brake, some tin snips, rivets and intake parts. was a good time. i enjoy making stuff. i know it probably didnt do anything, but meh. sounds cool, and i killed some time. stock air ram thing is still functional too.

it looks more functional than many of the mass produced hot air intakes. looks like it does a better job of cool air, the bends the air must take are smoother than factory. probably did more for you than buying an intake would have.

thanks guys! i honestly dont hear the turbo at all. BUT if i let off the throttle during boost, i get a whoosh from the dv lol.
in other news, chip arrives on saturday! week and a half, im making a catless test pipe/down pipe. combined with chip, and intake, i should be pretty good. then when ever i find a deal or money, coils, wheels, and done with the car.
**** this. I would have rear bags (Airlift) If my co-worker was not a ****ing *******. A tundra had a full set up with gauges that had to be removed to certify a car. I called dips and he took them.

If you got rid of the cat and have a downpipe fabbed, you'll hear the whistle of the turbo a LOT more.
Aside from that, I'm trying to think of what wheels I wanna run in the Spring. Cant decide, I'm no baller when it comes to paying a hefty price for "legit" wheels, I just get what I think looks good, Replica or not. My thoughts are:
LM reps in Silver, Gunmetal, or like STI Gold
Audi R8 GT Reps
Audi TTRS/S3/RS5 Titanium Reps
Also open to all other suggestions. But my dilemma with those wheels is I want 18x9 or 9.5 square set-up. I have a friend with a TT and he runs 3SDM's 9.5 all around and its sick as ****. But I also am skeptical about 9.5 in the front as having 400+awhp I need rubber to drive this thing like its meant, and being able to clear the strut with 9.5's would leave me to have to stretch a bit.
yeah, k03 definetly makes some noise with the chip. cant wait make a down pipe. my turbo was glowing orange when i got back last night haha. chip made a world of a difference. gave it a good romping last night.
