2011 Reflex Eye / Eyepipe issue

Hey nation! So I'm having an issue with my rail.. When my eyepipe is in and marker turned on, it reads that there's a ball in the chamber. When the eyepipe is removed, the eyes state that there is no ball in the chamber. There are some scratches, and a light fog-like strip on my eyepipe, that for the life of me I can't clean off. I've tried rinsing it in hot water, I've put a little bit of lube on it which does make the fog go away, but as soon as I wash the lube off it returns, so I'm at a bit of a loss. If anybody has some ideas / tips, they would be much appreciated, because I don't really want to order a new eyepipe for $20 + shipping

I think you just need to get a new eye pipe.

Yeah, that's what it's looking like. I was just hoping there might be some sort of method that I'm not aware of for removing that fog.

You might be able to polish it off with a high grit sandpaper.

Fixed the problem, Wasn't even the eyepipe just needed a thorough cleaning in the rubber eye holder and in the breech.

Yeah i was about to say, even with those scratches, i dont think its enough to cause an eye issue. Glad to hear you got it figured out though!
