Swapping a clutch in a 600rr is a lot easier than I thought. Follow the instructions and you are good.

While tightening the crankcase bolts one of them snapped on me...

I was nowhere near the torque specs and after it happened the first thing I said was "****! I'm going to get slapped today". So while someone was filing down the surface of the broken bolt so we could take it out, he noticed that the bolt started to spin and untwisted it by hand. So I definitely did not have a lot of torque on it because it was still only finger tight, haha.

a bolt without a head essentially is threaded rod and has almost no torque on it anymore.

Very true. That skipped over my head. The bolt was still in bad condition though for it to break when it did.

some bolts have tiny air pickets in them, and that presents a weak point. It happens..

Paintball? Yeah, but not recently, pre christmas hours at work keep me super busy and sore as hell, the good news about it though is that my Timmy will be built in no time cause I'mma be rollin in cash... until I get on a computer and order the parts, then back to being broke
