Valken paint is horrible

My field bought a pallet (128 cases) of Fate, and it's the WORST paint I've ever seen. They video'd a drop (more like slam) test and half of the paint would bounce 30 feet in the air and not break for ****. Really sad, considering Valken is a team sponsor and they just left this guy high and dry with all this unusable paint.

What's worse is we are in South Korea (It's a U.S. Army base field) and so wtf are we supposed to do but wait for better paint from someone else. I wouldn't trust Valken paint for one, and damn sure don't trust Valken customer service for ****. If they dont care about a field owner who buys pallets, I'm sure as hell they wont care about a small team who's gear is falling apart. for Valken

That sucks Pympologee...

I've had the opposite experience with Valken paint... we use the grafitti and it's been really good.

When we buy redemption pro, it's amazing stuff... very consistent and breaks on anything (pod straps hanging down, etc)...

Yeah, I wish he could run the tourney paint but he isn't operating this field for profit, and the cost is already high getting everything to Korea. He's just trying to do his best to bring paintball to south korea.

I have a feeling they sent him a ****ty batch because they know he's in Korea and can't really do much about it. They sent a sample and it was fine. But box after box of this pallet, they just never break. You guys should see the welts they leave. Like nothing I've ever seen. Either way, we got a really bad batch, and they could care less. I saw the emails. And they just blew us off.

Redemption Pro is one of the best paint ive shot (next to ultra evil of course) and it is decently priced. Fill is a fairly thick yellow and if it hits the lens of your mask its a pain to wipe it off

I love using graffiti. I have not had any issues with it and shot it out of both my G4 and AXE.

I will say at the 2 events I have went to that were valken paint only the paint was covered in oil in the bag. We talked to the valken ppl that made and brought the paint and they told everyone the oil would make their paint fly better and more accurate.

I don't trust paint where they really think oil on paint is good for it.

I would be flipping out if i had to shoot fate in a tourney. It would just be a waste of time and money.

Great Paint

Perhaps the problem with the bad paint is exposure to the elements. I have used a ton of Valken paint and so have a lot of people I play with. I bet that I have been party to more than 70 cases this year so far. I use mostly graffiti now, but I have used a lot of Fate and Infinity this year and I am very happy with it. I have only shot those three valken paint brands (of course I shoot other brands when FPO requires). I actually think that it can be a little brittle when it gets old based on a few experiences with left over paint in pods this year (different occasions).
I think they are much better than equally priced competition. They even make winter formula in Graffiti and Infinity (I have used both and they are both great).
The MAP price (supposed to be the minimum price you can find) is:
Infinity - 34.95
Fate - 44.95
Graffiti - 54.95

These cases were brand new and kept in appropriate conditions. Trust me, these are just plain ****ty paintballs. I also asked a local field here in the states about it and they had the same problem with the oilyness jamming up rotors and coming out of the bags as bricks. For whatever the problem is, the bigger and main problem is that Valken won't do anything about it. I won't buy a damn thing from them ever again.

im not gonna lie, the fate is really ****ty paint, i shot it at a teammate before during practice and it shot through his pod pack harness, but that was the only paint from valken i have had during normal conditions, now if your talking bout a little moisture/drizzle, ive had issues with redemption jamming my rotor cause it swell. but during normal conditions, graffity shoots decent, and redemption shoots excellent.

I have only shot valken fate and redemption as they seem to run closer to the .689 size that my ego barrel back has. I have had zero issues with fate or redemption. If im buying my own paint it will be redemption with a second choice of fate. I would like to try the graffity or infinity but dont want to waste the money and me not like it worth a damn when for $15-20.00 more i could have bought redemption and been perfectly happy. Can anyone comment on the use of the graffity or infinity and its use or how it works on the airball field.
