As you may know by the title, i have decided to pick up my first spool. I have been a die hard poppet fan since i started paintball. I have used the minis, the axes, the egos, the g6rs, you name it. I decided to pick up a spoolie because i thought the change would be nice for once. Which spoolie would you guys recommend? Budget is not a problem. Thanks nation.

Well what is your budget? If you don't mind breaking the bank then most of the above suggestions are good. If you have a budget then we need to look a little further.

No Budget- 1)Clone GT 2)dm12 3)Luxe 4) geo 3 by default but would rather get a drone dx and save the cash.

Budget- 1) Clone vx'd 2) clone v2 3) clone vx 4) drone dx 5)geos 6)older dm's

Been thinking of getting a clone. But nobody at my field shoots macdev. So i cant really have my own opinion on the gun.

I like the Clones. I have a VX'd, I'd love to get a GT but they're simply far more $$$ than I'm willing to spend on a marker.

I have a GT and I'm in SoFla. What's your local field? I can usually be found at extreme rages. Point of fact, I'll be there tonight if you want to shoot mine. Help with your decision.

The reason why is that a lot of kids at the field are agglets and just want a brand name... try MacDev and you'll see why they have a loyal fan base.

If I were in the "sky's the limit for a spool" game right now, I'd have to look at a Luxe. They hold their values well, you can get parts for them easily, and they come stock with a Freak barrel. Second choice for me would be a DM, because I've had DM's in the past, and had no problems with them.

I went to extreme rage once with Miami toxic a couple of weeks ago. I think you were the guy with the red camo gt.

That wasn't me. I have a black with red accents gt. I'm usually there on Sundays. Tonight is a bit different as it's too damn hot to play in the day at this time of year.

I would not recommend a DM, because once you own one you will never like another gun as much.
