Android Thread v15: Welcome To ATT, Can I Help You? I Know More Than You

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Make sure you're on the latest CWM
wipe data/factory reset in recovery
wipe dalvik cache
flash ROM
flash Gapps
reboot

From there click the volume down until you see boot recovery and hit the power button to enter that way.

Here is my procedure for installing a new rom:

To create a nandroid (backup of your system)
1. Backup and restore < Backup then let it do its thing.

Next you need to delete all the data off there. This could mess up your next rom so always clean flash.

1. Wipe data / factory reset < yes
2.Wipe cache partition
3. advanced < wipe dalvik cache

Finally we can flash your rom

install zip from sdcard < choose zip from sd card < find your rom and flash.

Repeat for gapps if you need those.

BOOM you have a new rom

Yeah, Nexus 9!

For XBox One or PS4?

Lols. How is that thing? I would be super happy with my Asus t100 if only it had another usb port. Can't use any extras without the keyboard if it's in charge mode.

compared to my Nexus 7 2012, this thing is quick. The N7 was more like a big screen phone OS. The OS on the N9 is how I put it, a Hybrid from a N10 and N7. What I mean by that is that the Nav buttons are not all to the far left and the default mode is portrait which I prefer over landscape. Screen is sharp. Dual Speaker/stereo sound is crisp and loud-

The best buy people end up asking me questions. And I just feel sorry for the Samsung people.

it does kinda resembles the iMeh

I didn't notice the spongy back and light bleed till I read the reviews. The location of said spongy is not in the way of me holding it and is not a big deal to me. Also the light bleed, is very minimal. Hell my Monitor im currently using apparently has it and so does my N5. Its only noticeable when viewing an all Black Image. I reckon I dont stare at a All Black Screen for fun-

Been using one for a few weeks now (coming from an S3). Really liking it. Thought it was a little too big at first but I got used to it.

Liked it so much, I bought another for my wife to replace her G2 since best buy was selling them for $1 over thanksgiving.

Anyone using tempered glass screen protectors? I am super happy with my current one. Dropped my phone from waist height onto the top corner on concrete and it just cracked the screen protector a little, no damage to the actual screen of the phone

Using an iCarez tempered glass one based on a friend's recommendation. Usually, I don't like screen protectors but these are nice.

I love them. I broke the one on my S5 and haven't replaced it yet because the home button is nearly flush.

I had been using the film ones, but a friend told me to try the tempered glass one so I got the techarmor with some amazon credit I had and have been super happy with it. Should have my free replacement one this coming week too

Finally upgraded to a g3 from my near 3 year old razr maxx so figured I'd give this thread a looksie again.

Also latest update of tapatalk has absolutely ruined the UI.

new droid turbo update, no mention of fixing the data usage while on WiFi, but im gonna test it out today and see. it would be a massive oversight for them to not have fixed this issue by now

How are you liking the phone. I was looking at this at the store but seemed to like the moto x 2014 more

it basically is the moto x 2014 with better specs IMO. I really like it a lot, the battery is insane. Its not like "unlimited" but you can use and abuse the phone all day and make it through no sweat, and the 15 min turbo charge is amazing for going out..just pop it on there while you get dressed and you'll be good to go snapchatting all night.

the downside to it is that the 64GB only comes in the nylon backing, and nobody makes a case for it. I got an otterbox commuter and everything fits except the top right corner, but i dont really mind too much..its just annoying. Also, the audio output is a bit quieter than my S4 through the headphones. Usually my car is at ~35 volume on the highway but now its almost maxed out at ~43 and it still isnt quite as loud..i could adjust poweramp a bit i suppose.

Moto hands free driving "assistant" is a pain in the ***, i turned that off. I didnt think I would like not having the notification LED any more, but it periodically flashes the screen when you have something and also knows when your hand is near by and it will turn on the screen as well, super convenient.
