Can't get Pulse shells apart for the life of me...

Basically, I'm trying to install a speedfeed, but cannot get the shells apart. I have unscrewed the screws (nuts came out unexpectedly...my Halo never did this?) but it does not want to come apart. I am actually putting some force on it as well...however, I don't want the shells to crack.

Do I have to do something with the "raceway" or anything? (tray and batt door are out)

Yup, lid is open. The only thing holding it back seems to be the raceway type deal around the feedneck.

That might be it. I was able to get lid off, so I guess there is no longer a need to take the entire shell assembly apart.
