Considering a Marq 7...reliable good gun?

I am considering buying a marq 7 and I was wondering if it is a all around good gun to own and shoot. I would love to have one but I would just like to have a different perspective from someone that already owns one of these. I would appreciate it! thanks!

Had a 05,06,07 Ego now I have a Rapper.....All i do is clean,lube an play...I'm not a tech nut and have had the gun for a while with ZERO issue's..Gun is great..

And there TECH crew is awesome.......Just a phone call away..Not that i ever needed.

only issue i have had was my fault, i cut one of the orings on the back of the engine when i was cleaning it... didnt notice it replace the engine... then couldnt get the gun to shoot over 250 but came on here and found a thread explaining my stupidity and took the engine out found the oring hanging off the engine, replaced and BAM gun is ready to go....

I traded my Ego7 for a Closer and I must say that the Closer is far more a solid smoother and comfortable gun, need to mention that it's way quieter as well. I didn't encounter any problems today when I used it for the first time and I am very impressed with it. I also got about 6 pods total with a 3k 68ci tank.

yes they are.... Everyone says they shoot like DMs but weight a little more, to me the weight helps balance the gun so its not loader heavy...

I love my marq

Not your fault, it happens way to frequently to only single you out as the stupid one.

To the OP:I've owned every Marq out there, ranging from stock setups to fully up'd and I've loved them all. Right now the only thing that I've found I enjoy shooting more than a Marq is my Luxe. You won't be disappointed if you pick up any Marq.

Angel_Owner - I would buy your marq but I have an offer now for a marq7 with throttle and halo and cp barrel kit for 500 so unless you can do simular...yea ha.

tottaly true i bet if the DM was fisically unbalanced you probably would feel it heavier,

actually the dm series and marq series are very close in weight. I love dm's and marqs.

That's right, I picked up a Marq 7 earlier this week and yesterday i put that and my trusty old DM6 on a scale and they both weighed in at exactly 1027 grams.

It's like, a 1oz. difference between the 6 and 7, if I remember right.
I don't think you can really say any of the Marqs are bricks.

marq 7 = 2.2oz
rapper = 2.0oz
mummy = 2.2oz

i was trying to find the weights of the new dms but i dont feel like waisting to much time....

ok i checked on nation and the DM8 weights in at 1.5oz

this guy must be a newb.... i still love the DM3 which was the second "BRICK" ever released
