Because it is useless.

So what you want is another place to advertise the same items that people are listing in every other area.

Think about it.....just for a sec.

Let us just say for the heck of it...that 50% of people selling stuff would be willing to trade.

You would have 50% of ALL sales in there. So in order to get that up and running we would need to make a WTT section for EACH section that we already have (E-markers, Mech, pumps, hoppers, barrels., etc.) Otherwise you would be back in here complaining about how it is not organized and you can never keep your thread at the top.

So now instead of having 14,000,000 (adding up the totals minus the NIB, pro, WTB) we would have 14,000,000 + 7,000,000 more WTT threads (because they would have to list it in both places.)

Obviously immediately it wouldn't be that high of numbers but it would grow over time.

It would take up more server space than any other part of the forum + slow PBN down.

It would be a redundant part to have.

Type "WTT" in the search under the area you want.

No, you don't understand....if they are willing to sell OR trade _________, they would have to list it in two areas.

It is kinda funny that (according to you) the only person that disagrees with you must have the right response since this same idea has been suggested multiple times before and everyone one of them turned down.

WTB = People who dont have posting something they want
Then you have the sell forums, you can sell or trade their..... or if you want to trade you can go find someone in the WTB section and ask if they want to trade.

If you make a WTT section, it really isnt going to help, ex:
"wtt Ion for Ipod"
Ok well if someone wanted to do that trade they could just as easily go to the WTS/WTT section(which it really is) and offer their Ipod for someones ION

Just like when they post the ION they say "trades????"

Either way, if any sections need to be created it would be a few sub categories in the everything else, such as electronics/clothing/ ect....

B2P, it's not gonna take off.

The idea has more cons than pros and even though you want this to happen, it will most likely not.
Get a mod or admin to put in a final say on this and let it die.

honestly, before any WTT section they should have 24/7 searching (free)

And for the "20" that have agreed, they fail to give any reason for agreeing. I opposed it and gave a reason. But I would like to hear more about why it should be done, I get the point of it, but I dont see it as being necessary.

A WTT section by itself is pointless and heres why.

Most every item in the BST that people have listed it wither for sale or TRADE. If we had a WTT forum people would then list their guns in the FS and FT sections, doubling the number of threads. Also, the way we have it now allows everyone to trade as long as it's posted in the correct forum. If you have a tank and want an Ipod, post in the air systems, it's pretty simple. The people who post WTT in the WTB forum are breaking the rules because they are not trying to buy anything. WTB is for people who have money, not gear to trade.

TLDR; WTT in not going to happen, read the forum rules and you can still trade gear as long as you post in the correct forum.
