A Thank You from the Pump Teams

On behalf of the Rockin' Cocks we wanted to thank the MAPL and all the 3-man teams that let us play and shared Saturday with us. We had a great time and are looking forward to future events!

Thanks to Simon, Larry, Josh and the MAPL Staff and Refs for making this happen!

Also thank you from Subzero and 3 pump chumps. We had a blast and enjoyed the competition in the division. A suggestion for the next one is if there could be 2 fields used so the day isn't dragged out

. All in all it was ran very well and we enjoyed it so much. Thank you again.

We at the MAPL are proud and honored to have hosted our first pump event at the Star-Spangled Open. Your games were an absolute BLAST to watch and all it did was make me angry I didn't play myself!

We were thrilled at the level of competitive play between the pump teams and I think even the other three-man Divisional teams had a great time watching the games. It may have opened a few new eyes to the fun and excitement that is pump paintball.

We are excited about the future of pump paintball in the MAPL and are already working to make it a reality. A great deal of that is up to our gracious sponsors like Valken, Deadlywind, Pinokio, Immortal Air and Simon at Inception who stepped up to help make this event a success.

The bottom line is, the MAPL is a league for and about our customers. It is our job to give everyone the best event we know how and of which we are capable. Thank you for supporting us and believing in us as your source for competitive pump paintball in this region.

Now we get to get started on putting it all together again! We will keep everyone informed!

@ Josh- Any info or idea if there will be another pump event this season? Just trying to make plans.

Hey my friend! Here's where we're at on another pump in 2013. I want to do it. I have a lot of talking to do with the sponsors to see if they'll step up again, so I won't carve the prize package from this past event in stone for another. But then, that's not why anyone plays I don't think.

Also, let me get YOUR opinion (and that of others) on this: I was worried that running pump again in August might be too soon, but that our final event of 2013, in October, might be too close to World Cup for some to be able to swing. So if I was to run another in 2013, I would probably choose August, our upcoming event. If we offered pump again in August would you guys come back and shoot it up with us? Bring some friends?

Let me know what you think and we'll make a decision in a few days, with your feedback and that of those other pump customers that played the at the last event at the core of that decision. How's that?

PS: no matter what happens in the remainder of 2013, I'm pretty darn sure that we're going to offer pump competition regularly in 2014.

We Might be able to send a team in august but was looking at it being in october. who would 3 pump chumps have to contact for the half of entry you said they would get?

As for RC we have already planned on playing whatever MAPL events offer pump this year. We are currently figuring on the August event and are working to make sure we have two lines for that event. We will be playing World Cup and whereas I haven't checked the date for October MAPL event if its to close to Cup we may send up a line but our focus is Cup.

Regardless we'll try to be at whatever event pump is offered again and anything in 2014 as we can plan for those events easily.

P.S. Also as impressed as we were with the prize packages, were just as happy getting medals only too.

Agreed. Unless a decision is made sometime soon, the turn-out for pump could be affected unless people have time to plan accordingly.

Hit the MAPL website and email us - Larry will see to it once you get registered (once registration is open for that particular event) that you are marked as pending and only pay what you need to pay.
