hey my name is kyle i am moving to carson city, right by reno and i play ball in oregon. i am not on any team at the moment, but wish to be. i would like to try out for a team when i get down there. are there alot of teams that play there? because im interested in 5 or 7 man team tournys.

yea, when i went there to check it out i was getting bombarded with dont do this dont do that, great first impression?, and im fully aware..

what is the deal with buying their paint only?
to keep the place up and running to pay the bills from paint buying?

It is an indoor paintball field, obviously the overhead is going to be WAY more than an outdoor place. Even a lot of outdoor places are saying FPO these days. Its the main source of income for any field.
The main reason though is because of the location of the (temporarily closed) GAP factory in Carson which makes it possible to get loads of paint for way under MSRP thus leaving our beloved field out of much need cash to keep things up and running smoothly.

I can promise that the staff at RIP mean nothing personal when they "nag" about the rules. And of course it may seem strict if you've just come from playing in Fernley for the last 4 years.
The bottom line is that, very simply, because its in an enclosed space there is a slightly greater potential for accidents at an indoor field.

just kinda hit me like wow wtf is the deal here..

might be bit nicer to play the night shifts, or during super hot days..

so its 10 enter 35 paint.. thats the cheapest rout to go 45 to play a day..
