yeah i saw the return of minion posts (then again they were just some dude being about a week late and a few dollars short to answer) and was looking for my thread to bump it. haha finally found it and was like "aww hell" oh well, it's at the top so...i guess if we keep posting in it it'll at least be in bold and kinda stick out.

Can I run an 800 psi high pressure tank on a minion even though it operates on low pressure? The pm7 manual says an 850 is the max so it should be ok right? Would it stress the regulator?

Yes. The only markers designed for low pressure output tanks are Angel Speed 04 and newer. And even the A1 Fly they've finally gotten a clue and dumped that moronic requirement and developed a reg that can properly regulate high pressure tanks.

Hey guys, quick question:
Would PM6 feednecks, triggers, end caps, etc fit on a Minion06?

Thanks!

no, PM6 stuff only fit PM6s you need to find EM6 specific parts. Try eBay, I think you might still be able to find some stuff...though most people that have them tend to hang on to them.

Not planning to update specs anymore. Here is a thread on comparing weight:
https://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2843646

======
OP = Operation Pressure and Shot count estimates is based on a 68/4500
EXAMPLE to convert shot count on 45/4500:

1300 / 68ci = 19.12 shots per ci @ 4500 psi
19.12 x 45ci = 860 shots per 4500 psi

*NOTE*weights are per industry standard... no barrel, battery, asa, reg.
info provided by dueydog

DM7:
  • New Milling - all new 3D body styling
  • 1/8" shorter in height and 3.5 oz. lighter in weight than the DM6.
  • Revamped self cleaning eye system with new eye wires. Cleans after 1 shot compared to 3 shots in the DM6.
  • New Lever Locking Feed Neck

-----
PMR:
  • Matching single piece Proto barrel
  • Hyper2 in-line air regulator
  • Anti-chop eye system
  • Composite eyeplate
  • 150psi operating pressure with Boost Forward technology
  • Continuous three-dimensional contoured body design
  • Compact and lightweight body styling
  • Proto dual-durometer sticky grips
  • LED program control
  • Dual-durometer composite ergonomic 45 grip frame
  • Re-engineered 1 piece bolt system
  • Adjustable dual-durometer trigger sensitivity and rate of fire
  • Stamped metal insert logo
  • New Proto bottom line
  • Adjustable locking dual-durometer feedneck
  • No UL frame but one will be made specifically for the PMR.
  • No LPR.
  • 3 firing modes + 1 (Semi, PSP, Millennium, and hidden mode NXL thread by NickA5)
  • 1.22 without reg, barrel and battery. 1.94 pounds with everything.

Changes of the PM7 to its predecessor (PM6)

Review by Passmeabeerdude

-----
Changes of the PM6 to its predecessor (PM5)
  • New milling
  • 1/2" shorter in height and 4 oz. lighter in weight
  • 2 piece Proto barrel (.690 bore)
  • New and improved LPR
  • New faster solenoid
  • LP bolt guide
  • Metal logo inserts
  • Locking no rise feedneck
  • ASA/Proto on/off bottomline
  • Integrated slide rail

-----
  • DM5 is 1/2 in. shorter than and 2 ounces lighter than the DM4, the DM6 is 1/2 in. short and 7 ounces lighter than the DM5
  • PM5 is 2 ounces lighter than the DM5 and 4 ounces lighter than the DM4.
  • PM6 shaved off .5 inches off the height and 4 ounces off the weight of its predecessor (PM5).
  • The Proto Matrices do not have removable chips, only removable boards. You can also get the boards flashed.
  • All guns use the Fuse Bolt design. The DM4 bolt is longer than the others, proving inefficient, the short bolt will get well get an extra 200 shots. The Pm5 gets more air because it runs at higher pressure, which also means more kick.
  • The DM4 & DM5 use an inline pressure of 180 psi and the DM6 runs at 165 psi. The PM5 runs at 220 psi and the PM6 runs at 165-170 psi.
  • The DM4 & DM5 use the same electronics, the DM5 is stock programmed faster, the PM5 and PM6 is completely different, and the DM6 comes stock with the UL Grip Frame, which comes with its own electronics.
  • The DM5 and the DMC are basically the same, except the DMC has stock Tournament Settings and 2 ounces lighter with the composite frame.
  • The DM6 and PM6 has an improved Solenoid which has improved efficiency with battery life, bolt life, and a longer lasting solenoid. The Self Cleaning Eyes makes it easier for players to not take time to clean their guns on the field.
  • The DM6 UL Frame features an LED Indicator near the thumb, this provides a quick view on the status of your marker.

Sorry for the long quote, thought this should be here. Should help those who are trying to decide what matrix to get, and between the 06-07 minions
