Official MSPA is dead, thread.

Hey Everyone,

There are no plans in the works for MSPA to hold a series in 2009 or anytime in the foreseeable future. At this time, it appears to be dead. I've talked to a couple of field owners and they have no intention of continuing the series and at least one MSPA field has closed.

The MSPA series no longer has a centralized management. The management of the series was turned over to the field owners in 2008. So, if the field owners don't keep the series alive, then it looks like it's done.

I know people have been wondering. If your team was planning to play the MSPA series in 2009, you might want to start looking for another series. There are several to consider. Here are a few that I'm familiar with.

In the Alabama area
ACES (Alabama Challenger Event Series)

In the N. Georgia, E Tennessee area,
CFOA (Carolina Field Owners Association)

In Tennessee and Kentucky
SEPS (South East Paintball Series)

This forum will be left open for a short time so people can see this message.

I have been in and out of MSPA for over 12 years. Very sorry to see it go curbside. I have to say, I have meet alot of great people in paintball through the MSPA. Many are now long time friends for sure. Good luck to all the fieldowners out there! Oh, by the way, I doubt that Bill would hold a MSPA at MTP. But I've been wrong before (i think).

Keep playing!!
