Ollie Lang Drawing Step by Step!!!

Here we go again.
I am doing an all airbrush painting of Ollie Lang. I have just recently taken a class from Dru Blair and will be using his technique to make this my best painting ever.
It will be interesting to see how this step by step is going to play out. This is my first full color airbrush painting so don't expect too much.

One of the main differences that seperates a color airbrush painting from a liquidlead painting is the use of firsket. Frisket is a clear film that you lay over all of the area that you do not want paint to get on. This painting is being done on CS-10 illustration board.

Got the basic outline done

about 10 hours into it.

I have put about 20+ hours into this.

I have alot more work to do on the mask.

Still have more work on the mask. This painting is going to take as long as my troll painting.

This drawing is going to take a long time. This is the first full color airbrush painting that I have done and the fact that I am doing something with this much detail is retarded. I get frustrated with this pretty quick. I have redone the sandanna 3 times and am still not done with it. I am a perfectionist to the extreme. While I am struggling with this drawing I am going to be drawing a team breakout of team Dynasty in liquidlead (the same technique that I did the Thomas Taylor drawing). I have already started it and will post a step by step pretty quick. I usually work on a couple drawings at the same time, so this is not something new to me.

Your thomas taylor one was great

your last one sucked (it was great work but I didnt like the outcome)

and this one looks like its gonna suck too.

who cares which baller he uses, drawings are amazing.
