I just ordered some alum to make a few trays for those who want them. ill post up when the prototypes are ready. i need 2 volunteers for testing. they need to have functioning M's that just need a frame/tray option. I need to know what frames you will be using. Im going to be test one using a Angel frame so post up what your gonna be using. I will be giving out 2 FREE trays for demoing that the testers can keep when done. they arnt gonna be pretty or near final production they are just for testing.

shibby, i have an 07 ego frame "contour" modeled in solidworks, fits like a glove, i can send you the cad to make 07 ego frame trays.

langless you can send the file if you want i dont have all the stuff to setup for CNC yet. wating on the shipment. worst case is i just use it for reference

I wanna add that I will be running the same special for eye covers. Same stipulations as the trays apply.

What do you as far as testing for eye covers? I should be able to volunteer for both. My Tarantula is at ATMF, and the Elia one is functional, but I am waiting on a few final pieces before sending it out.

Pretty much what im looking for is feedback on design, fit, and function. Yeah I could make several in house and mess with what I have on hand but I figure this would be a fun way to get people going on their projects since the covers seem to be holding people up a this point. I have no issues with giving stuff away in return for feedack to make these a production item.

What i need for these is pictures of the gun that they will be going on cuz some people go body and others rounded. since every body is different the covers will have to be of certain dimensions for a plug and play type product.

I'll be happy to help you test them. I'm not sure if those of us with working Ms are really the ones in need of the parts, but I have no problem passing the prototype parts along to someone who could use them.

I get what your saying. My reasoning behind wanting someone with a functioning one or one just needing said parts to be rolling is that way I can get better feedback than someone who most likely will just sit on them till if/when they finish.

if you wanna pass them along after the info i need is acquired that perfectly fine with me as they will be yours to do what you wish

im less concerned about profit margin so giving stuff away doesnt bother me. in the end it will help all of us I hope.

I was doing some searching for aluminum for frames and the base cost for what I was finding was 80 bucks per frame. I need to do some definite searching to reduce overall cost of everything to offer an affordable frame for a good price.

ive got a FBM frame that i would move to the M if i could get a tray, but it will be a little bit until my m is shooting, ive got almost all the parts, just waiting on Mero for my sva and bolt then im sending it to dc.

Does anyone have the dimensions for the ram cartridge that they can send me? It's been a while since I've done any machining and I'm itching to do some. Looks like I'll need to buy some material here pretty soon.

Hey Shibby, I'd be interested in the eye covers. I've made mine by hand just using a Dremel, only one is shaped right now though, still have to do the other one. Shibby, if I didn't just buy a set of tarantula covers from a member here, I totally would have been willing to be a tester for you lol. Kinda sucks that I paid twice what they are worth to finally get a set but what can I say, I got tired of not being able to finish this gun

40 for the second pair, I'm just glad that aside from anno, this gun is done.
My other one is a whole different story, still need a board, noid and trigger, then I need to figure out how to cram all of that into a milled ul frame. The frame feels great, but its a monster pain in the *** getting everything in there

i wanna say there was something wrong but i forget what it was or if its just me remembering something else. easiest is to just check a body if you have on available.

for my eye covers ill leave it open till the end of the month for anyone who wants to apply for a test set.
