You could say that.

Anyways, let me know when you get that guitar. I'd love to hear how you like it. I've always thought Jacksons have been a pretty good deal.

There aren't many of us that frequent this thread anyways, and it seems to be the only reason we visit this subforum, so we should make the transition. Site's only been up a day but we're working on things.

Join if you want to be able to discuss titties and drugs with your guitarsiers.

Yeah I'm trading my beat-to-snot Squier Affinity Strat for it if all goes well. The guy knows it's a project guitar and he was alright with the condition it's in.

Bolt on, but thanks I'll tell him.

Doubt it will stay around long though. These things have been tried a million times before.

Der is a douche and put a bunch of idiots in charge :bowrofl:. If you like it, that's great. Like Treghc said, it's been done to death over the years and everyone migrates back to the larger forums before long...I'm on too many forums anyway.

Switched off the jazz picks for a while in favor of the regular 1mm tortex. The single coil in this Ibanez is a little high for my usual picking style with the sharp points, but the rounded edge of standard picks glides along nicely while imparting a subtle wooshy sound. Neat.

Edit: How's the Orange Treghc?

Ders is a bit of a douche but this is just the first two days. It will likely get tailored a lot more. We actually have decent funding this time and the ability to do more with the site than make it "just another forum."

Like I said over there, if we can get core-members to migrate over, the transition will be smooth and things will be great. Even with less-than-desirable people as mods (which I assume they'll get weeded out soon anyways), it's better than this place.

So the Blue DK2M I was going to get sold. The thing was listed for $280 and came with a case, so it's no surprise, really.

On a whim I checked GC's used listings, and they had 4. I called up the store, decent condition, no major mars or anything, neck's in good shape. buckle rash and some pick swirls.

$300, and it comes with a "polyfoam" case, and they've pulled it from the store from for me until Wednesday when my Tax refund gets in. Horray.

Nice. Never seen that before.

I picked it up. Sounds amazing for EMG knockoffs. Made by Galveston. Little wear on the finish of the bridge but otherwise spotless.

They're a huge pain in the *** to balance strings v springs and intonate with consistent action from the start. The stability is unparallelled once set up properly
