I have something deviously simple planed.

I don't usually sell until I finish the gun. If I let the buyer come up with the idea it would prolly be something that he had seen or something that is impossible. I like doing one off a kind never before seen.

no worries man. just commenting on the plainness of it, compared to the rest of the gun. then again, i think Sidewinders are good looking. so what do i know?

it's hard enough finding new cuts on something already milled, and PE HPRs don't leave much meat to do much with. i'm sure that with some anno, it won't look as plain.

so, any clues to what you plan on doing with? polish to a gloss, fade, acid wash, splash(like the old style Eclipse guns)?

thanks guys....well I had a very very very ****ty afternoon...Was trying out my home brew chiller In acid for the first time....terribleness.....

I have a pump going into the tank from a 2gal bucket that is being chilled and my drain valve is going to my 2 gal bucket to replenish that which is lost in pumping.


I decide to shut pump and drain down...well turns out the balance was just right for the acid to flow back down form the pump side and over flow my 2gal bucket. I walked up to check on the chilling process and heard the condenser fan hitting liquid. Heart sunk to my feet.

I have lots of bicarb just for this situation, but it still sucks *** and ill show you why.



That is my setup in an upstairs room above a garage.

I always try to plan for the worst (that bed around my ano tank can handle the entire tank leaking out.) and hope for the best, well the one time I don't it ****s me....

Well thats my story....I'm thinking the chiller is trashed.

OH! I almost forgot, I when it was all over I walked out in front of this bastard.....at night

Nothing...I'll just bite my lip and buy a good chiller.

The chiller is prolly fine now that I look at it, but I don't want to work with a Jerry rigged mess again and have the same thing happen.
