Michigan had 82 votes. OU is one win away from breaking into the top 25.

Well this is very bittersweet for me... lol

I was pretty close. I was tempted to push Florida way up on mine too but didn't because LSU looking so bad the previous 2 weeks really took a lot of luster off them. So in my mind it was hard to push Florida up that far. But I had a feeling the AP might do it anyway. But I thought with WVU getting a quality win that at least they would stay ahead of Florida.

If Michigan would have scored a few less points on Purdue, we'd probably be there.

The SEC has 3 of the top 4, 4 of the top 10, and 5 of the top 15 and 7 of the top 25.

Looks like another down year for the SEC.

The Top 25 is irrelevant outside of Bama.

For a school like ours, and for Coach Solich turning around our program, the Top 25 is extremely relevant.

Two of those two 4 teams are there only because they beat COMPLETELY over rated teams.

I didn't look at the rest.

He was fired because some kid claimed he had hit him, but later came out and said (before they fired him) that it was a lie that his dad had pushed him to say so that they could get a big settlement. The school then stated that it didn't want to take any chances after the recent scandals at the jayhawks and a few other schools where coaches really were abusing players. So they fired him anyway, he got a big settlement out of it though.

Holtz is just terrible, USF went from a school that was consistently beating WVU and getting a lot of hype here in florida from recruits to a joke that can't even beat ballstate or temple. They also went from playing decent opponents with a semi respectable schedule to struggling with cream puffs.

Lol I posted that for you. Didn't even register in my mind that it was Michigan that kept them out. The game was aired on TV yesterday. Still need to make my way down at some point before season end. When's the next home game?

Because you haven't played against anyone with a defense worth a **** honestly. Look at texas, they were playing terrible and they still caused multiple force fumbles and sacks on your heisman qb.

Your boy had to go 45/51 for 650 yards and 8 TDs...to beat Baylor by one score.

The offense as a whole though is just awful and has regressed. The play calling is so bad that some friends and me successfully called 14 of LSU's offensive plays in a row. If people who are drunk can see the formation and personnel and know what play LSU is going to run out of it, I am pretty sure the head coaches and defensive coordinators for other teams making big $$$ can also see and predict it. The main issue was that last year and for the first 4 games this year, LSU was so much better than everyone else (save Bama) that they could run a 5 play offense and crush teams. This year LSU's offensive line isn't nearly as strong, the WR's regressed horrifically, and in general the offense has been all sorts of out of sync. LSU must get more creative with the play calling otherwise it's gonna be a really really rough season.
They just don't have the same swag. They don't play with the same attitude. Mathieu's loss didn't just hurt their schemes; he brought a certain attitude that the team adopted. They just don't play the same as they did last year.

Attrition has really hurt LSU, too. Losing four top players and the OL having to play reserves sucks. Their personnel isn't as good as it was last year.

If you're wearing crimson, you're wearing the uniform of the best team in the SEC. Tradition is what Alabama is all about.
