Hey guys. I had to repost this because something happened to the Youtube video and the link wasn't working so some people asked me to restart the thread. Anyway, here it is again. So I recently went to a scenario game at MN Pro Paintball in Lakeville, MN. My friend (who had never played before) asked to use my SLG because I hadn't used it in ages. He was having trouble taking off the nitro tank when tragedy fell upon my SLG. RIP little guy. Still dont know how he managed to do it though. BTW, It wasn't simply a stipped screw. He somehow managed to rip the trigger frame off of the body of the gun while the screws were still in it.
Shouldn't you just have to re-tightening or get new screws (if they are stripped) and just re-screw the frame together.
No. Thats what I thought at first. Its hard to explain but the screws are still screwed into the trigger frame. They are not stripped or anything. The trigger frame separated from the body of the gun. The only way to possibly put the gun back together is to glue the frame back on to the body. Its rly weird.

sounds like the threads pulled out of the body then? If that's the case and the place where the threads were is metal it can be Heli Coiled and repaired. I have done it to quite a few guns in the past.

Yeah. Im just going to get rid of it. That sounds like too much work. Maybe sell it for parts or something.

so the screws sheared off.. ? drill them out with a drill size smaller than the hole and pick out the left over pieces, and if you can't just screw in new screws - re trace the holes (with the correct tap). Bring it to any machine shop and they can do it for damn near nothing$ or I may be wrong. or if it ripped through the frame, use washers under the screw heads.

The hardware shops around here are refusing to touch it because it is a firearm. May just send it to Dye and call it a day. That or destroy it in some awesome way.
