I've never owned a chinchilla, but my roommate was taking care of one for a week and despite its size, the fur got everywhere. Very cute and soft, but very dirty pet.

I disagree. With Audis, I've heard 50/50. Some people I know have run them into the ground and never have any issues. Others saw issues arise at like 30k miles for no reason.
