It might work for the Blackheart. If it uses the same settings (rof delay) to limit the rof, then it should. Other aftermarket boards let you pick the number you want it capped at, and the board dopes the rest.

No ****? Maybe it's time for a Tadao or Virtue board.

I have the virtue, no complaints. The virtue is also uncapped, your blackheart is capped at 20 bps.

or you can also get the new seventh element board if you are on a budget, which is cheaper and has the same features.

I read that too. Oddly enough I have put my ION on a 3 different chronos that measured BPS and one read 23-26bps, the second was 24-26bps and the third was reading 22-25bps. Maybe the chronos were off. These were with the mods listed in the ION link in my sig, ramping, and Dwell @ 46 and ROF @ 0. Either way, I am looking for an excuse to spend even more money. LOL. I just bought an L7 bolt and a fully UP' Halo B. Dye Hyper 2 reg likely coming in the next 3 weeks.

So is it safe to say that this Seventh Element board:

1.) Will work with my current Blackheart eyes or does it come with it's own?
2.) Is uncapped like the Virtue and Tadao boards?
3.) Will allow me to simply set my BPS and the board sets itself for the correct Dwell and ROF?

**Yes I read everything I could find on their site, and yes, I did send them an email via their "contact us" page. I was just looking to hear from some of you who might already have their board in your ION**

Actually, you are still responsible for the dwell, but it takes care of the rof.

Someone did get this board recently, there is a thread on it somewhere here.

Yes or no on the auto dwell/rof setting? Spyder says yes, spug says no. I looked for a thread on it and came up nothing. Let me widen my search criteria.

You need to be a bit more specific, what is not working?

Have you looked at the instructions?

Sounds like it, follow the instructions and change your dwell to the setting of 34.

Ok, to get to programming mode you have to set the dipswitch #1 to on.

Turn the marker on while holding the trigger. Continue to hold the trigger
until the LED starts to flash different colors. Release the trigger,
the LED should display solid Purple. To cycle through the programming options, pull and release the trigger. The LED will change colors to correspond to the different setting options. Pull the trigger until you see solid red, this is the dwell setting.

Once on the solid red pull and hold the trigger. Wait for the LED to briefly turn off and then blink a number of times to indicate the current setting.

Wait for the LED to stop blinking, release the trigger and pull the trigger the number of times corresponding to the desired setting, 34 in this case. The LED will blink green each time the trigger is pulled.

Once you have the desired setting of 34 turn the gun off, this will save the setting.

Yes. To set dwell you need air.

You can't get your ION to fire but you're God on the field?

Ball stuck in the barrel? Is the ball dropped the whole way down the feedneck? If not, is the bolt all the way back? Does the gun have air pressure? When did you mess with your reg last?

Thanks!

Just a word of thanks to the guys that monitor some of there apparently rhetorical questions. Given the number and content of the stickies, there isn't any reason the majority of these posts should exist. All the while you guys will still answer some of the most idiotic questions even though there answers have already been given dozens of times. I used this thread and the manual to set my Dwell and ROFD this afternoon and I'm shooting 17 BPS on my brand new stock ION XE. The Dwell is set to 42 from the bottom and ROFD is set at 0.

I hope these questions don't get asked anymore because I am tired of logging on and seeing the same posts everytime and I atleast have the decency to read everything provided here and everywhere else Google can search before asking anything. So far I don't need to know anything that these guys have not already answered.

Thank you to all of the guys who help everyone out. It is truly appreciated. You guys are clearly intelligent, mature and EXTREMELY patient.

Again Thanks!
