Simple(noob) Question

On my stock Etek2 frame it has "ETEK2-001" stamped on it what does this mean?

also on the body it has "EE 002" stamped on it what does this mean?

That's correct. There will be 100 or 200..... or however many parts constitute one batch..... other frames with the same number engraved in them. The batch numbers allow Planet to keep track of manufacturing date, location, the metal used to make the batch of parts etc. It also means that if a particular issue is found with a particular batch of parts, they can carry out a recall on just the parts effected, rather than a recall on all Etek2s.
