Im loving this, giving people what they ask for and keeping the price minimal. Its the way it should be. The days of making 10 guns and calling them limited while asking in the thousands of dollars should be over. Thanks Bob and the crew for listening!

thats dumb. do you know how many people would be willing to buy just the bolt itself for their G6Rs? i know at least 10 just at my local field alone.

its not dumb bob is creating some truly "special edition" guns that no one else is making, splash anno with limited edition upgrades warped sportz didnt become a recognized brand for selling regular guns.

so basically he is embracing people that already dropped 1k on a g6r to either sell your current one and buy a new special one for slightly more or buy an after market bolt over one that he can sell sell separately and make even more money off than just selling a limited amount of special guns. it makes perfect sense!

no.
The SL is getting those upgrades FIRST. When the Zick kit or Cure bolt proves successful in the SL marker, it is then available as an upgrade at a later date.

I would assume that what really is happening is that FOR NOW, the upgrades are only available with a marker, because supply is low. Once supply catches up, it would only make sense to make the upgrades available.

Element is right. On top of that Bob Long is not PE. PE can come out with the same ego design-wise every year under a new name and sell it to their fanboys like its an entirely new gun. Bob doesnt have as many people that are willing to do that. thats why it wont make any sense to just do a limited run with those upgrades and not sell them separately to the public

so other than that BLAST may not have production up on the part, but will make them available when supply hits. where the part will be available when its available.

and PE having the parts and just tossing the aire of exclusivity by withholding em from public. when there is the possibility of them having no supply other than the initial run, and production waiting pending demand.

they are two completely different concepts of the way the upgrades or parts hit the market?

Not to argue because I somewhat agree with you. PE puts out an Ego and then next year puts out the same Ego with a different milling and maybe a new barrel and they call it the Ego XYZ. PE fanboys love it. But isn't that kind've what Bob Long is doing with the G6R, then releasing a G6r F5 or G6R Z?


Both companies are keeping the main title of the marker (EGO/GEO/G6R) but with the new addition of whatever upgrades, they add a new sub-title. EGO 10, EGO 11, GEO 1, Geo2, G6R, G6R Z? In the end, they're both just putting out the same gun/same platform, with a few minor upgrades and calling it a new marker?

I mean both companies have put out markers that wasn't that big of a upgrade from its predecessor but made it seem its a completely new marker that people must have. Etek3->Etek4 Pointless. g6r and maybe the f5 (just a different milling, not internal upgrades)

The new bolt worked out awesome. Much more gentle on paint than a stock bolt. Really quieted the gun down too.

All the upgrades bob includes in the "Premium" package are LEGIT! KO trigger is amazing!

Not really.. these are just different models of the G6R, not a new marker.

Not really. Bob never claims internal upgrades like pe does. He just comes out with different millings to suit different people's taste.
