The Morlock was the original board that you ould get for the 80 if you wanted eyes. We're coming out with a really nice new board with eyes so all you 80 users...DON'T BUY

yeah thats nice but i'm talkin about the pgi mayhem not an assualt 80 and also its the new morlock called the predator morlock, click the link in the first post, i'm not talking about the original morlock or the assault 80
also i was wondering if anyone thought of using a matrix solenoid on a mayhem because they both are the spool valve design and the matrix's are quick

The original morlock board was the eyes for the 80...if you look on the WM website, one of the "Coming Soon Upgrades" were eyes. They were the morlock ones. You could also adapt these to go on the 80 just like the originals.
I did click the link and read all the pages....I'm just saying something that has to do with the 80.

I've been wondering the same about the morlock. But it cost quite a lot compared to the Mayhem price.

So the new board for the 80 will include eyes? Hmm, will WM be running a retrofit program so that we could get the eyes installed on our "older" guns?
Swansen, I don't mean to hijack your thread I am just trying to determine what my best option is...

no its all good... kinda, but anyways to baldusi if you look at any other gun say a stock cocker like $350 and buy a new trigger frame it would be around $100 so $120 for a new, sweat, board it isn't that big of a deal.
Also if anyone thought about using a matrix or shocker solenoid because their also spool valves and whats the cap on the mayhem's noid, and if its the same solenoid that aci used on their sonic conversion, then it should already be all kinds of sweet because i've shot one and got 18bps easy.

Ha, would be nice if it were that easy to get the Mayhem up their performance wise. I would love to see the other guy's eyes bug out when you hit 18bps with a Mayhem and didn't have paint soup pouring out the barrel.

Actually the eyes on the Predator might not be the only reason to purchase the board. Did you see all the new firing modes and have you ever seen how fast a Predator shoots?
I bet if someone is willing to do the testing/initial install in these gun Dad would take really good care of them price wise.

That'd be funny...but if that happened, I don't think it'd be a Mayhem...you'd have to rename it cuz I've never heard of anything called a Mayhem that could hit nothin over 10bps on a good day chosen by the Lord.
About the retro-fit: I think...not sure though...that WM is making a new eye-acceptable breech for the old guns. Not sure since there is a lot of toss up about ideas and such. Either way, I think there already is a way to install eyes...err...I think there is already a breech out, but it looks ghetto/ragtag...that's how we would've installed the old Morlock eyes.

My Mayhem needs enough drilling work to void any warranty. And I was going to buy a Morlock Predator anyways (for a different marker, thou). So I will try it. In fact, I want to convert my Mayhem to a Warp feed Left for my Q-Loader. So I might even try to drill the eyes in a very peculiar angle. Making the eyes covers might be a funny process, but I've got a brand new Taig Tools CNC Mill that to tinker with. So my imagination is the limit.
The other great thing about the morlock is that it will stop the ridiculous ramping that my Mayhem has.

Regarding the A80 eyes board (we really need to make a new thread). I've been thinking that cramming the ball detents, plus eyes is very difficult if you wan't to keep the posibility of having right and left feeds. In fact, unless I'm mistaken, you can't have a LF because of the detent. And that's exactly the kind of configuration I would like for my Q-Loader.

well word has it their angel threaded feed necks so i think i'll just stick it in vert feed and a low rise with a halo, and yeah i think the predator would be real nice especially because you can mess around with the programming on you computer to get rid of the mayhems long dwell time. To see someone set one up right and post the setting would be really sweet

On the 80...the new eyes and board and such is prolly gonna come in a kit. This will most likely include a new breech where the detent isn't jutting out. Even if that doesn't help, if you really had too, you could either send in the breech or do it yourself and tap another hole for the detent.

The solenoid on the Assault is the same as the one on the Mayhem. It's cycle rate is not the limiting factor. bThe Mayhem requires higher flow to get a decent ROF. Just because solenoid A does 20 BPS on gun A doesn't mean it will do 20 BPS on gun B.

No, they would flow the same. They are the exact same solenoid from Clippard.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the A80 has two spools, right?
One that is actuated by the 'noid and the flow from that moves the firing spool/bolt.
This works much like electric relays, every step steps up pressure and/or flow, the magic of the spool.

Alright thanks again. IF anyone is wondering i orderd a mayhem and the predator morlock. Also death i don't really understand your signature
Hey i was also wondering how many parts from the assault 80 are interchangle able with the mayhem, like the low force bolt spring or something, thanks
