ok yo big john im 16 and i know what it is......i think its like a gator pod like it has a picture of an alligator on it i belive. i found one of them on my local paintball feild we put it in the shop its in our failure case hahaha

Ok we are getting close. Yes it is a GATOR BACK pod and yes they are still avalible to buy but the pack it was originally designed for is not. The pod was only half of the system and the pack the other half. Full answer in 15 more minutes.

Very close... here is the answer.

Its called a gator back pod and it goes in a gator back pod pack, it was a crazy design they had back in the 90's. It had a piece of hard wire around the opening of where the pod went in and the wire snapped over the little bumps on the pod and kept it from falling out of the pack, no velcro flap or elastic needed. It was kinda a neat idea back in the day, my brother actually still has the one he bought about 10 years ago.

Dont feel too bad about not knowing because I cant even find a picture of the pod pack.
