Chicago Scenario Series
Enter into the only Scenario Series in the Midwest! The Chicago Scenario Series grants you entry into 3 Scenario Events. One event at each of the Hottest Paintball Parks in the Chicagoland area (Paintball Explosion, The Badlandz, and Fox Paintball).
Scoring for each event will be done by the UWL. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the series. In addition, you will be entered into quarterly raffles for an all expenses paid trip to one of the four biggest games in the country (Oklahoma D-Day, Hell's Survivors' Michigan Monster Game, Skirmish ION Event, and EMR's Castle Conquest).

What exactly is this? Is it a tournament? A scenario? Team based or what. It seems like its a season pass to three scenarios, but then it talks about scoring via UWL. The flyer doesn't have any useful information and no one seems to be able to explain this to me, but I'm curious about it.

Spartan, From what I know about it is its very much what we use to talk about way back in the day. Its basically going to be like most scenario's where you have a group of individuals and teams on each side and play out like most other scenarios. But if your individual team completes an objective for your side your team gets X points. I also think there were be capture and hold objectives as well so if and individual pulls a flag to their teams color they get points for that flag pull ect... Its still getting worked out as to the finer details but this is what I have been able to piece together. Its a pretty neat concept IMO as I think we all have talked about it before getting into 10 man as heavy as our teams have. I would guess that much like the UWL in its first year this wont be 100% perfect but hopefully there are a ton of teams and players that go so they can smooth out the wrinkles along the way.

Hmmm, it does sound interesting. Too bad July 20 at Fox is UWL Nebraska. June and August might work (August is the weekend before UWL Tenn, which is tentative for us). Clearly series grand prize points are cumulative, but are there prizes for each individual event as well? I would think not.

When the game is at Paintball Explosion I hope they get rid of that "do not cross" tape running the length of that ravine.I know there are some saftey concerns but hey this is a senario, not open play. If they don't, you will have a nasty choke point that can bog down a game. We played at the killer Clowns game last fall on Blue's team and we battled there for a good part of the day. Just making a suggestion

You sir hit the nail right on the head, I’ve played two big/scenario games at PBX, both have gone the same way, both teams battling in one area, with little or no advancement. Explosion is a great field, but not a great big game field as it stands. I’ve made suggestions to them after the clown vs zombie game, like having reinsertions on the quarter hours and making everyone go back to the main base to reinsert . Hopefully they make some changes, I have no desire to go there for a big game.

I would hope that you would change your mind.
PBX is as Great as it is, because they listen to the players.
They keep adapting each Big Game.
Now, with the addition of the Nuketown field (May 11th, 2013), they will have even more space to allow for movement.
the World at War game should be awesome.
Hope to see everyone there.

I think that this series will put a lot more on the Generals and the XO's for pre planning the missions.
Having each mission be a free for all will make for some tension on the field.
Knowing the extent of the missions before hand, and what teams are playing/size of teams to make sure those teams have a better chance for certain missions.
The scenarios that I have attended didn't have any pre-planning by the Generals. everything was organized chaos.
