Threw one in my buddies old g6 yesterday. He was very impressed. 30 degrees and the bastard didn't break but 1 ball all day.

My closer broke paint ALL day. I was jealous to say the least.

Installed and played with it today during rotations. Dropped from 75psi to about 60psi. Hitting 281-285 all day without adjusting the HPR at all.

Totally worth it to me!

I wish we can see results of the regs both sweet spotted to each bolt to see the best results over the chrono. Which is more consistent Hush vs Premium?

I could try to do that. Right now I'm sitting at the hospital with my 8 month year old. So probably not tomm. But I could try to knock out a test with the stock vs premium vs tech t vs pillow. The problem is I am not a tech so my findings might be alittle off. I am knowledgeable but once again not a tech.

Like everyone else, I've been able to bring my LPR down to about 65 and my HPR operates at about 150. Chrono readings around 285 without a problem!

The videos are enough for me to say that this bolt is simply not worth the money (to me) in any way. I didn't see enough of a performance gain (if any) to validate the claims BLAST and some others have made regarding the improvement it makes.

The Techt Bolt it seems is a bit of a downgrade because it increases the differences in +/- readings which is exactly what you don't want in an "upgrade".

I personally found the Stock bolt to be more than adequate of the 3 you showed. Your method for Sweet Spotting the Regs is not how I do it so that might equate to the +/- range you were getting. The way to do it it to turn out both Regs, air up the Marker and then raise HPR until there is enough pressure to properly set the LPR to the desired range which on the G6R I generally find is 65-ish (exactly where I prefer it on ALL my Timmys - logical to me as the Noid is the same one) and then go back to the HPR and adjust upward until you get in the desired range (I prefer 294-ish) and then fine tune via the LPR until the grouping tightens up. Once it's to my liking I'll go back to the HPR and fine tune there a bit more and I usually land +/- 1-3 fps.

As well, this comparison isn't really 100% accurate because each requires it's own re-adjustment of the regs to maximize performance according to each Bolt. Having said that, Stock Bolt would be my choice without a 2nd thought. It doesn't cost anything more and does just as good as the $100 upgrade option (Yes I too feel it is an absurd amount of money for a Bolt).

I know first hand that it works. funny that these guys who bought it agree that the performance has increased and you disagree (seeing as you haven't bought one)

Give it a try. If you don't like it, sell it to someone else.

I agree with incubus. If it was being sold for maybe 65ish then i may think about picking it up. 100 dollars is insane for a bolt. Not to mention if you dont like it then you will be forced to sell it at a lose

Once again, someone jumping the gun and misquoting me.

Sorry Tim but when it comes to performance upgrades I call it as it is and this is no different. I have more than enough experience to know the the videos showed me enough to know the marginal "improvement" this bolt offers is not worth the price. It's one helluva nice looking Bolt but not $100 nice.

As well, if it is an improvement over the original it should (like all other further refined parts Bob has ever produced) be included with the Marker right out of the box. If it costs that much more to produce the price it's understandable the marker should reflect that.

Either way, the G6R is so fantastic out of the box that I just don't see this selling very well at its current price and I foresee it dropping a bit in price.

You have some good points but I don't really have the time to sweetspot all four bolts. I will say I did sweetspot the tech t when I got it and the pillow bolt that came with the marker. Both did not produce the same results as the new bolt does.

And you are right. The comparison isn't 100% accurate. Humidity. Weather. Paint quality. Etc. All these are factors that will change. What my intent was to help people decide whether or not they thought these new bolts were a good investment. If I have helped you make this choice whether you want one or not then I consider my test a success. Like I stated previously I am not a tech nor claim to be. Just a regular guy who enjoys playing and happened to have all 4 bolts and a YouTube account

Also I can see how your method of sweetspotting works. But from the second video mine was also shooting about +/- 3-6. Pretty good for paint that was rolling through the barrel.
