EDIT: I will do a write-up when the video gets done edited. I don't do the editing, so I have no idea when that will be. I will be able to get a video of our entire team's highlights for the day pretty quick though.

I actually broke that record last meet. But, whenever we attempt a record, we have to report it to the scoring table so the judges can check our equipment after the lift. I forgot to do this, so the lift did not count as a record.
However, now that I have officially broken the record (once I send in the paperwork, that is), I will have 3 out of 4 possible records for my division and weight class, with one more meet that I'll be eligible for this division.

Went swimming today without liftingthe prior. Normally I've been swimming around seven laps before taking a break, today I didn't count but pretty sure I did atleast twice that before stopping. Surprised lifting beforehhand takes that much toll on me.
Eager to start lifting again on Wednesday.

probably has a lot to do with your glycogen stores being depleted from lifting prior to swimming...

i disagree.
lifting would hardly deplete his glycogen stores. iirc, 10-20 sets of 12-15 reps per muscle group to begin depleting (UD.20), before eating any significant amount of cho - which pump would do daily anyways as a part of his mixed diet.

Bench. That record is 308, and I haven't hit a competition bench PR for about two years now, so with only one more meet to go that I'll be eligible for this division, I think that record is safe.

Idk if it's glycogen or what but I always seem to have much less energy for cardio right after lifting. I did watch some video on bb.com that suggested cardio after weight because u use up all it carbs lifting and u will then draw from fat stores.

Decided to run quickly before work. Mapped out a place that was .6 miles away.
Figured I'd run there and run back real quick, so a quick 1.2 miles before I start getting ready. Got back in 6:01:xx. Surprised myself on the total time. I figured it would be closer to 9-10 minutes. Heart rate was up there but my original goal was 1.5 miles in ~10 minutes. Not that any of you care, but I just thought I'd share.

That's what happens when you start off as a half-squatter, not doing any hamstring work, and then learning how to lift properly. Back when I did 5/3/1, rest-pause leg extensions were one of my favorite quad movements, and they definitely helped growth-wise.
EDIT: On an unrelated note, I think I have my next training program roughly set up. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I don't plan on starting until next week (I usually take a week off after a meet, and with the length of the program, this should be timed perfectly for my next meet), so I'll be revising it as I go along.
