The X7 Phenom, IMHO, gives you the best of all worlds. The MP7 look is real nice. There are a metric TON of accessories that you can get. It's spool valve so it's a true electronic marker that can also be fired mechanically if your battery dies. If a marker is made of better quality parts than a spyder, then it's a high quality spyder. There is nothing wrong with that. I was born on a spyder marker (figuratively) the. I grew and got an Autococker and that was the end of the spyder. Tippmann has always stood behind their brand and the phenom shoots like a monster. It does weigh a bit but that's of no concern to me as I don't have a problem with the weight. My marker looks sick AND if you get the tacamo kit, you can bounce between a hopper fed marker and mag fed pretty easily. I LOVE that fact. I plan on setting mine up so that I can switch between the two easily. How can you beat that versatility (besides the DAM)?

Scarab Arms

What about the Scarab Arms Markers anyone have these and can give me some input before I purchase. The mag design and capacity look much better than the cheap dmags.Very good looking marker,I am going to give one a try and do some testing and if all is good I will stock a few.

I like the concept of occasionally using magfed in a full magfed game, but i love the feeling of paint flying through the field like crazy, gets my adrenaline pumping. I just couldn't see myself playing 100% magfed.

Kingman MR5 and E-MR5

Kingman has or is just about to introduce two new
mag fed models, both of which are also capable of
firing FS rounds. Another feature is the ability to
switch from hopper to mag feed by a twist of the
barrel.

The MR5 and the E-MR5 both share similar looks,
save for the electronic grip on the E model.

I don't work for Kingman, nor is this post meant
as an endorsement. I'll leave it to someone who
has more experience with these to spell out what
is good or bad about them.

adrenaline

If you want to get an adrenaline rush, try
playing with just what the military calls your
'basic load' some time. I've seen soldiers,
who were trained blow through a hopper
full of paint, all the while forgetting that
when you're out, your out. Nothing gets
ones' adrenaline going like knowing you
have nothing left to shoot.

Mag Fed FS Sniper

A member with one of the sniper blogs I've hooked up
with posted this bit of film today. It shows what you
can do if you put your mind to it. Of course it helps if
you've got the right gear.

Not meaning to throw any hate or flame out there but RAP4 markers have been reasonably dubbed CRAP4 for reasons. Your money though. You could always learn the ropes of the Qloader and make a nice setup out of it. Tiberius makes GREAT markers/products. You can always try and use the more expensive first strike rounds but those are always optional. And now there is the sexy, famous product known as the DYE DAM. Complete with Dyes trademark feature of overpricing. Very good quality and all, just overpriced like everything else they make.

Tiberius does good work, when their guns don't **** up.

MILSIG is good, but be wary of the HEAT Core design, it's well designed, but needs some troubleshooting if you get a problem unit.

AVOID RAP4 AT ALL COSTS

Carmatechs coming out with the SAR12 for those of you who want to live out your sniper dreams .

Spyders new Hammer 7 is a nice little piece for the price, can't go wrong!

As I've noted before, if not here then elsewhere, I
don't work for or get paid by any vendor, however
I do believe that Omar and KT have both done their
homework when it comes to this new 468 model
that's coming out.

If you happen to be attending The Oklahoma D-Day
Event this year, they'll have a number of this new
model available for you to try out during their Mag
Fed Only Scenario game on Thursday.

For more details or to register for D-Day visit the
official website http://www.ddaypark.com

I had two Rap4 T68 gen 7 first and sold it cause of problems then bought another gen 6 and had problems with that as well. Both markers I bought second hand but I traded the gen 6 for the 468 and I am very happy. Your right they did their homework on this marker. Not one chop as of yet and cleaning it is a dream come true for milsim paintball. Had to clean cause I got one barrel break. I love the feel and I find myself taking it apart just for the hell of it cause it feels like I am breaking down a real gun. Not if I can just get my boxmag to work properly another second hand purchase lol

Lets just hope they actually oil the rental 468s unlike what they did for a game in NJ. Every single rental 468 had problems because they didn't oil them out of the factory.

Is that what happened? I was at that game, not using a 468 but a clone gt with a stick feed. I heard most had problems during the day.

Like anything new, there are bound to be issues that crop up.
I'd expect that what happened in Jersey was just that. They
also plan to make a number of loanes available to us in June
for the Oklahoma D-Day Event. You can count on me to let
everyone know just how they perform. Heck even Totota
is recalling a couple million cars because if faulty airbag
systems.

Anyone else have a 468 who'd care to share their thoughts
on this?

Sincerely,

I just bought a 468 and i have some words about it ... I've been in the military for 15 years and now i'm retired .. and i have a nice paintball team.
the rap 4 468 is the best mag fed marker I've seen yet.. it breaks down just like military weapons and the D Mag system is kick ***.. its price is worth it .. I've used this about 20 times since i bought it new .. and it is that best

I would recommend Tiberius, I had a t9.1 and loved it for mag feed. No jams and the ability to use first strike rounds a plus. I did have problems with the hopper feed on it, but if you are using it mainly for mag fed options I don't see any problems.

Yea i had the T-9 also and for one i didn't like how much each mag cost and the how heavy it was . not counting The T-9 there are some options for upgrades but not much.. and the T-9 does jam...tooo ..and chop paint. unless it has a chop bolt installed which it doesn't have because they don't make anything for them... the T-9 is just a pistol with addons to be a rifle that's all ...
if you want the feel of a real milsim weapon T68-468- MR5- Tippmann A5 or X7 with the mag kit. milsim weapons are Milsim--- Pistols are pistols . plain and simple.. now to each their own . but there are a lot of games that are mag fed only and your T-9 they would tell you no!! I've seen them turn away player with T-9 -T8.1.( now price wise The T-9 rifle is 899.00 before tax... the m468 is 678.00 ((( the T-9 mags 35.00 for one 8round mag .
The m468 (10 ) 20 round dmags 50.00 ...

There's not a single mag fed game that would deny a Tiberius user using only magazines. And your pricing is completely wrong the 468 is $468. The Tiberius T9.1 starts out at $350. The T4.1 is $900. The T9.1 magazines are only $30, not $35. Also, how is a pistol not milsim? Correct me if I'm wrong, but every soldier deployed has a pistol.

Yes that is correct about the military and the side arm a pistol but as i was saying the 468 isnt 468 with the dmag verison . i know i just bought one 688
now i did my search for the t-4 is 899.00 the Tiberius Arms T9.1 CQB FS Paintball Marker 374.00 Tiberius Arms T9.1 Elite FS 499 Tiberius Arms T9.1 Ranger FS 349 Tiberius T9.1 Sniper FS 699.00 my point its just a pistol with addons to make it a riffle that's what im say and with a eight round mag . each mag is 35.00 so OK you go to a mag fed game . by the time you buy your mags at 35.00 per and field fee and paint .. really.now i'm sure you would need at least say 4 mags 140.00 just for mags . so add that to any of the top above . and if you think the four 8 round mags are going to go well in a mag fed game .. okay hope that works for you. but 32 paintballs on a mag fed game make sure you go to a no mag fed game . because you will be in the zone more then battle field proven face ive seen it
