Different milling, same gun internally. They both come with the VIS and VCOM engines.

If purchased new or more correctly if manufactured new recently. Most Vcoms out there right now will have the same Spool Engine, but will have the old Super Charged engine in place of the VIS. Any Vcom manufactured very recently will have the VIS engine included. I'm sure one of the BLAST guys can give us a date the old SC engine production stopped.

Thanks. I also confirmed this with Bob Long too. He said he is currently using his own mixture of dow 33 mixed with some oil for the VIS engine (his new secret sauce that was mentioned in his video).

Has anyone got a chance to fine tune their Vis engine yet? If so, what pressures/dwell settings and fps you running at?

Mine are around 67/165, iirc. But that was after putting one case through it. After 10 cases I'll retune.

dow thinned with some oil probably. people have been doing it for years and works great.

Just get some MacDev Militia Lube and call it a day. Might not smell the best, but it stays put and is the slickest I've found.

BLAST has the special sauce lube in stock. Not really sure if it will make much of a difference, but if Bob says it works the best then a few extra bucks for my VIS guns is ok with me.

You should get the lube, along with case and tool kit when they are all in stock. I'm waiting on my goody bag for my VIS.
