Putting the points system on the side for now, I just want to say thank you to all of the teams. Everyone played great, few little issues nothing crazy. We tried to get teams on and off as smoothly as possible, and I think we achieved that goal. We hope to see all of the teams back for the next event.

It was a great event yesterday! Had a blast watching everyone going hard from center field. I don't fully understand why there is so much dispute on the points system. I understand the argument that this is not how "other" series do their scoring, but this is the way it was advertised from the beginning. This was something to be disputed before the tournament started not after the first set of points have been applied. To change it for one team now, is to false advertise to 9 others.. It just doesn't make sense to change it now, when it was crystal clear for quite some time now.

Aside from getting shot to all hell, I had a blast.

I was very happy with the attitude of everyone, and how easy going this tournament was. It's not often you have a tournament that is full of so many great people, and great attitudes. It was a little slow to start, but once we got rolling I felt it moved along extremely well. I'm looking forward to the next event, hopefully we will see an even bigger showing of teams. It's not to late to jump into this series.

Just had to do my duty on the nation here and come chime in....

BloodRedIon- If you want a ultra competative tournament run the "right" way (as you so have deemed it) then get on a team that plays nationally and go play all 5 PSP events next year. I promise the best teams get rewarded there. But until you do that, do everyone a favor a shut the hell up...

You are like the jackass at the phone store that *****es about a $200 cancelation fee.. "OMG WTF DOOD AT&T ONLY CHARGES $100 TO CANCEL... THIS IS UBER GAY AND WRONG!"...

The rules were posted long before you paid your entry into the tournament, it is no ones fault but you own that you did not know the way that the series was going to be scored.

With that being said.....

The point system is a little strange seeing as a team could have a nice bracket, few lucky shots of the break, and end up 7-0 in the prelims giving them 100 points twords the series, and then get butt punched in the finals.

BUT

It is a LOCAL 3 MAN BEGINNERS TOURNAMENT... Do not expect to making a living off these things being the "best" team... Maybe they chose to do it this way to keep things up in the air a little more, give it a little bit of the luck factor BECAUSE IT IS A LOCAL 3 MAN BEGINNERS TOURNAMENT....

Learn to compare apples to apples sir...

Ryan is in Vegas right now at the PSP meeting. He will be returning soon. Here is an update... CPX Legion Factory team will be playing. I got a couple of our refs to play with me and should be able to make it. I have not played on a speedball field in many... many... years.
