The all new BST Trust - Show buyers you are trustworthy

Let potential buyers know you are trustworthy by signing up for the new BST Trust program.

Establishing trust online can be difficult, especially when deciding how to pay for and ship valuable equipment.

We have overhauled the old BST Trust system and replaced it with a brand new program with enhanced features that help identify Trusted Members of the PbNation Community. This new program will make it even easier to identify yourself as a trusted Buyer, Seller or Trader online as well as spot other trusted members.

The all new BST Trust system works by checking your PayPal account and making sure you are a Verified PayPal Member with a Confirmed Address. This is effective because the new system confirms your address and status using the PayPal system and then stores this data for possible future use if there is an issue with a transaction.

This new enhanced BST Trust system enables a small user badge underneath your username every time you post anywhere on the site so that other users can see that you are BST Trusted. As long as you are subscribed to the service, you’ll be recognized as BST Trusted member in every post you make on PbNation.

The new system also adds a header across the top of all threads you create while BST Trusted showing you are a trusted member of BST Trust (like at the top of this thread) and adds a small Trusted image next to the thread title in the forum view. (Note: this will not retroactively add the header to your old threads.)

That means every single thread you create while Trusted has a header (like at the top of this thread) identifying you as a member of BST Trusted.

Every single post you make while being trusted displays the badge and lets potential buyers know that you can be trusted. It makes it more likely people will check your signature and find your equipment for sale.

That also means all BST Trusted threads will also have this image beside them letting potential buyers know you have signed up for this new program.

As an added bonus for signing up for the BST Trust system, we also developed EZ Bump, a new tool to help you bump multiple B/S/T threads faster all from your Subscription Folder. EZ Bump allows you to bump multiple BST threads at once without having to go to each individual thread.

Since we had to turn off the old (and rarely used I might add) BST Trust system in order to start up this one, some ASMers lost their old style trusts. Nice idea..what happens after 3 months..does your B/S/T badge under your name go away? Didn't see the answer in the post.

Just like ASM, it's a subscription. The features are active for your account as long as you have an active subscription.

I have a question. I'm verified on one address, but my college address isn't. Is there a way I can make my main address my college one even though it isn't verified?

My other main address is verified though.

Now that you've subscribed yes, but I have a feeling when your sub renews it will fail. I have not tested that however.

EDIT: One little suggestion, make the

logo that is by the thread titles highlighted a bit more, maybe have a bit of a blue outer glow to it? The image seems to get lost in the mass of GoldUped threads and bold titles...

Glow + transparent gif = really nasty looking on dark themes. It's really tough to get transparent gifs to work, and we can't use transparent pngs because not everyone's browsers (cough IE) supports them.

Ah yea, didn't even think about that part, the only theme I use is Original Blue Light Bg

Great idea for Pbnation and also people with lower feedback amounts. I can't justify it as I've got a large amount of feedback and if people can't trust that with the combination of verified Paypal accounts I don't think this helps me out. But great idea.

But holy crap on the amount of "badges" now. Seems we're overdoing it and it will eventually take away from the obvious signs the member has a badge. I see people with 4/5 badges now. Too much bling. Like Mr T. I pity the fool with less badges.
