This is great news. Just to clarify though we likely will not receive any funding until next year. This will also require increased club participation in fundraisers as well as rec sports events that we will likely have to attend.
Now that we have the university behind our back (somewhat), we can approach sponsors and try to work out a lasting deal.
I'll send out more details as they become available.
In addition to winning our Class A nationals entrance we also one two Class AA tournament entrances by participating in World Cup. These must be used this season. There is a class AA event being scheduled for the November 19th at CFP. We should send at least one line especially considering entry will be free.

This is a very important meeting as I will be going over all the details regarding are newly found membership to recreational sports. This is a great opportunity for us to receive university funding and support but it will require each and every one of us to step up our commitment to the club.
Also we will be discussing the CFP Class AA tournament on Nov 19th. We have free entry so there is no reason why we shouldn't compete and win. We will be going over practice and money for the event as well as travel documentation that is needed by rec sports.
Hopefully once i finish my pre-req's i'll get into UF. Now that i'm older and can pay for myself sufficiently i'm starting to play again. I played with some UF guys over the years. Would love to be a part of this in the future.
