Reflex bolts. Techt?
I'm probably going to get a new bolt soon, and after watching a few youtube videos I think the techt bolt looks like a good option. You guys know more than I do though so give me your opinions on the techt bolt and other bolts and which one is the best one to go with. I appreciate all of the responses, thanks.

BW bolt is just a polished stock bolt so it's not worth it.
TechT bolt improves performance but I have heard it is hit and miss in terms of the reliability.
No reason to bother with a new bolt when the stock one works fine.

When I was watching techt's video on their bolt they were claiming I would get better efficiency which the reflex doesn't have good of. That's the main reason but there are other perks aswell.

Do you know around how many pods extra you will get? I'm trying to justify the price of it. And is buying bolts used a no go?

used bolts are fine, just make sure you do an inspection of the orings or just replace them when you get the bolt to be sure you have good fresh ones on there. Otherwise it is kind of hard to dmg a bolt system unless you do something incredibly dumb.
I got my TechT for my 07PMR lightly used from a friend and it works great.

Totally agree, ive had my TechT L7 bolt in my Reflex just under a year now and i have not had a single problem since the chirp they fixed back when they first came out. i get an extra 2+ pods on a 68/4500 tank filled to about 4k.

How does it work without the boost technology? Any increase in breaking paint?

The bolt works just fine with out the boost technology. I did not notice any increase in breaking paint.

It is pretty gentle on paint, the tip of the bolt tends to cup the paintball a little and depending on what setup your doing with the tophat shims/sleeves you would also lower your OP which will be a bit more gentle.
