Hello, new minimag owner here. Need some help

Hello, Like the title states, I just got a Minimag today. I'm not stranger to them (had one when the were new) but it has been a LONG time. Now I'm getting my kids into it and I couldn't pass this marker up. Anyways, this MM is leaking from on/off teflon and power tube o-rings. I want to order a new set of o-rings but was wondering if AGD website is a reliable place to order them from. It also says it has some X-Valves available, is okay to go ahead and order from them? I don't know if their web site has been updated in a while. I emailed them a few days ago and I haven't gotten a response yet.

Thank You

Yes. It is completely reliable. Great starter marker for your kids This question seems to come up every month or so. Tunamart is also a reliable site to order from. http://www.tunamart.com/. If your kids get really into mags' they will be welcome on AO and in this sub-forum.

Best to call AGD, i think their order part of the site is messed up and/or email Tuna (no number), you'll have to give both of them a few days to get back with you since this isn't their normal J.O.B. You'll find their info on their perspective websites.

I have recently ordered from agd directly online and haven't had a problem with any of my orders. Basic parts should be fine, though if there a specialty part you may want, you'd be better off calling or going aftermarket.

I'm out in El Centro, Ca. The marker has a constant leak down the barrel and the sprinkler leak. All the o-ring are hard and brittle. I'm just going to start with replacing all the o-rings and a level 10 bolt. Would also like to upgrade to a x-valve but that isn't my priority right now.

Here are some pictures of the marker taken apart. I think I found another issue with it. The PO apparently was trying to adjust the trigger. From looking at the videos on troubleshooting, this should never be adjusted. Would like for you experts here to look at the parts and make sure they belong with this model. According to the instruction manual this is a level 7.

the reg seat is definatly worn other then that I cant tell too much from the pics. the sear should be adjusted to about 1/16th from the trigger and getting a lvl 10 like you plan will fix the barrel leak

The only way to get the spring replaced is by getting the level 10 right?

Well found out that (at least mine) doesn't like CO2. I put some more oil in it and hooked it up to compressed air and it shot beautiful and consistent. With the CO2 it would only get about 2-4 shots before it stopped holding pressure and became a fire extinguisher. With the air the sprinkler leak is gone but it still leak down the barrel but not as bad, very small and hard to hear. I also changed the way the air was routed through the marker. Before there was a quick disconnect at the reg. I replaced that with a swivel macroline going to the front like it came from the factory. Tuesday my lvl 10 should be here.

Co2 isn't going to hurt macro, we ran it through micro back in the day. Your biggest thing is to keep the liquid out of the valve. It'll shoot just fine with Co2.

The reason you were getting the leaks with Co2 is cause the liquid was shrinking your orings.
