Same here. I'm getting together with a cousin of mine in a couple of days. Hopefully we can dish out a song or two before we both leave. He's into minimal techno ... I'm into electro house... We'll see what happens.

Just got a nanokey2. My midi key needs some fixing so I just picked this up for now and am going to give to to my brother. Its pretty cool though, super small, super convenient. Theres not a lot of feel to it but if you just looking for something to put ideas down with and jam you can't beat it for 50 bux.

Good stuff.

Yeah diarrhea sounds are definitely a no go.
Behinds that, I like the arrangement and design, just needs sounds that have a vibe besides taking a **** while bashing your head against a wall.

Granted, if Vik's trying to make something more "danceable," then maybe so many random sounds isn't the best choice and I'll agree, especially with the part about using the space that those "random sounds" take up for better "variations."
But if not, then he's the only one that could really say if those sounds are random or not. There's a lot of electronic artists/producers that incorporate many non-traditional sounds and samples into their music, but then again their stuff isn't really dance friendly in my opinion. It all depends on what you're aiming for, Vik!

whats the difference? or is it just top recent releases vs top 100 of the genre? either way grats, but you gotta get on the big list!(and not get carried through a production lulz)

I feel like there's still more you could do to it.... I can't put my finger on it, though........ I'll have to wait until you finish it.
When making electro house, would you guys say it'd be a bad idea to just use the sub bass frequencies from the main bass line synth do the work? Or should I make a sub bass line anyway and get ride of those low end frequencies on everything else?
